Why don’t you have a plumb line drawn before you cut that corner? The right hand paper will never be straight and as you continue (of course) the paper get more and more crooked!

@williamdiniz35032 жыл бұрын
100% correct. It's not alllways going to match unless the Conners are 100% straight wicth is most unlikely. The main thing is the pattern to match all the way round the round. We use a laser to make sure its straight.

Hi Spencer watched so many of your videos there very helpful! This one I particular. Although I have a question, what if we have an external wall ( corner of the chimney breast ) that leaves the same overhang? But its not in an internal corner to do the same technique as you just did here 🤞🤞🤞

Hi again Spencer, so is it quite acceptable not to cut a corner and sacrafice a little plump on the adjacent wall? Obviously cut the paper if we have major buckling.. Great video by the way "prozac" 🤣🤣🤣
@spencercolgan3 жыл бұрын
Great question; general rule… Always cut the corner; if you have a geometric pattern, consider not cutting the corner but using and extra tacky paste in the corner to keep it down and then wait on the corner to make sure it doesn’t come up before hanging the next piece; in every case to the right or left of a closet or a doorway we’re there is that 2 inch space and then a corner, no need to cut that at all

I discovered I have not one single wall that is straight ( no bowing) and not even corners. They look it but they are liars. I had to fiddle with paper every time I made a corner.
@TheOlzee Жыл бұрын
@@robbennett9631that’s the trouble. He says to use this method if the corner is not straight but then the next piece will not be straight lol that’s why we put a plumb line on the adjacent wall. You’d be better off using the method he suggested if the corner IS straight, then you’d save a littler time hanging it plus the adjacent wall has more chance of being straight for the next sheet
