Somatics for digestion. Chronic tension in your belly and trunk can contribute to an unhappy belly and digestive distress. In this video I'll show you how to relax your belly muscles fast, and gently stimulate your digestion using safe, simple and enjoyable Somatics movements.
All systems in your body work better when your muscles are relaxed, including your stomach. By relaxing your belly and abdomen you can allow your stomach to do its work more efficiently. After doing this, I noticed a palpable difference in how much more my belly could raise upwards doing a belly-breath in. WHen knees were moving to the right and you said to raise ribs up, it was kinda difficult so I know I gotta do this a few times. Thanks Colm! You are a legend and so is your content

Glad you enjoyed this one. If it’s challenging for to lift the ribs, do the opposite, drop them down first instead and few times. See if that helps.

Possibly. It certainly wouldn’t do any harm. All it does is relax the belly muscles. Everything works better when our muscles are relaxed.

Laying flat on my back was problematic for me with gerd so I would have to do it on some sort of incline
