Because of your content I feel so much less stress! All of my decor is organized and labeled in clear totes with photos of set ups 5 months early! My DIY arch is finished, and wrapped ready to go. I have a master list for my Day of Coordinator of all of the items and where they go during and after the event. (which is minimal, small, and streamlined). I feel much more prepared and it's taken a lot of pressure off of me as we get closer to the day! Now I just have to make my bridesmaids dresses and finish the playlists for my Dj.

This is great to know! I just booked my venue and hopefully the weather will be nice enough to use the gazebo for the ceremony, but if the weather is not great, the ceremony will be in the reception space. As a bartender and server for most of my life, I planned on hiring some of the staff I've worked with to help with set up and clean up. Party staffing companies are a great resource too.

The irony... I have a flip happening for my wedding in a small DIY venue. As much as I'm concerned about it, 😐my coordinator swears she'll be okay. We're all scrambling to make sure there is enough help on deck. (Ppl not involved with the wedding at all - friends of family). EDIT - October wedding. Hoping for an Indian Summer that week so we can have the ceremony outside, hence removing the need for a flip 🙏 with me guys!

I’ve been wondering about whether it’s worth it to get a hotel, and I’m concerned about travelling in a car for a long time in a wedding dress. What factors make one option the better choice than the other?
