Your Heroes Quest has been the best Podcast for me. After thinking about what you said in your podcast I mapped out my journey…literally. I put a path with a stone for each pound I’ve wanted to lose on a large brown parchment that I’ve hung in my hallway. I’ve drawn in quicksand patches where I struggled or plateaued. I gave a name to the part of me that tries to trick me into eat bad things…her name is Bellatrix. It’s easier to fight her when I imagine her as an entity outside of myself. You and others are my mentors and wizards. My hiking poles are my magic weapons. It’s so much fun and it has kept me going. I write my weight on the map every Wednesday and I have my favorite hikes labeling each 10 pound loss. I treat myself to that hike when I’ve hit the 10th stone. So far I’m down 22 pounds and I think I’m gonna need a bigger map. 😀

I have been the one who chooses to sit on the couch with my snacks and Netflix on Friday night (or Tuesday or Thursday night) because I had a ‘hard day’. You have challenged me to be the one who uses that as my ‘WHY’ instead of my excuse. I’m only 15 minutes in, can’t wait to hear what other mind shift wisdom is coming!! Thank you!

Listened in while I went for a long walk-LOVE it! Honestly I super appreciate that you sometime review the same content in your posts because it just helps solidify the concepts in my brain AND it’s a prime indicator that there is NO MAGIC in this process. It’s consistency, small progress, and sustainable habits that lead to progress and I really appreciate you keeping it simple and real for us. You’re my favorite podcaster/youtuber and I’ve been listening in for a couple of weeks now and I’m already seeing progress and mindset shifts! I can’t believe I used to believe in all-or-nothing but then get so upset with myself when I continually failed. Now I’m out for a walk and I know that even though it’s not a crazy workout, that it’s still progress and it feels so dang good. Thank you

A lot of cross references to Mel Robbins content in your podcast. I wonder if you're also a fan of Mel Robbins or it's just coincidence ?
