I've been sick for months and I wasn't able to eat my skin becomes very dry and unfortunately one day when I used Vaseline with olive oil immediately the next day morning I've noticed for the first time in my life new terrible wrinkles around my eyes. I'm 40. I use tretinoin 0.25% 5 days a week. I use Paula's choice 20% niacinamide and prescription strength azalic acid. I have a lit of sun damage from my teens and twenties. I also have dermaplaning done monthly to every 3 weeks. TCA peels have been amazing, also. On the weekends, I skip my tretinoin because I usually get a peel on a Friday. But even if it's not a peel weekend, I will use drunk elephant TLC framboos. The dead skin thar the tretinoin is shedding, the TLC rids my face of. I have a whole system. Way more in depth than 3 steps 😂 Actives I use Tretinoin Niacinamide Azalic acid Salicylic acid Lactic acid Mandelic acid Watermelon extract Cucumber extract Green tea (Bliss night mask) Collagen jelly cream (medcube) Several sleep masks (farmacy niacinamide, Laneige bouncy sleep mask, Bliss greentea sleep mask, Saturday skin vitamin c sleep mask) Hyloronic acid (peter thomas roth water cream) Water cream (tatcha) F-bomb (drunk elephant) TCA 30% on scars only! TCA 15% monthly TCA and Jessners peel every other month. Glass skin (peach and lily) And several more 😅😂

Just curious Dr Karam, is it possible that while one is actively removing the dead skin layers, that “larger” pores become exposed? What we need to know is how to use what products with what products. So you say use niacinamide vitamin C retinol, but how? Should I use them all together. Should I use some of these products at night and some during the day? Should I work up a tolerance to it on my skin? I also hear that vitamin C if sold in a clear container is not effective. I hear that it’s photo sensitive and needs to be in a dark container. But I also hear vitamin C helps boost the effectiveness of sunscreen. So that confuses me if it’s photo sensitive, how can it help sunscreen? And should I avoid products That advertise for it being vitamin C but in a clear container? Teach me

Getting a good exfoliator was the best thing i ever did for my skin. I believe its by Levelier and its a silky exfoliator with little beads. It not only got rid of my breakouts, but makes my skin look RADIANT. Its expensive but so so worth it for me.

Also avoid sugar. I see it with my sugar-addict friends. We're in our early 30's. Sugar causes glycation and ages skin fast. You and your wife are beautiful! I wish more men took better care of their skin. Most men refuse to wear sunscreen. They will hike for hours, lay out on the beach, some work all day in sweltering sun etc. -Without sunscreen!!! By the time they are 30+ skin looks like worn leather 😒

Very important info is missing. Exfoliation is much cheaper, very easy and common with salicylic acid or glycolic acid. I use a foam facewash. Gives an instant glow.
