I just played a game of fixed caps on this map and clawed my way back from absolute ruin after a bunch of noobs slammed into my bonuses for no good reason. I reported one of them for harassment lol. But I have been using all of the strategies I see on your channel including kill guards and making friends on the board. Plus ending the game with a "gg, well played" just for vibes. Just wanted to say thank you for posting such great games.

Especially when they bot out at the beginning, makes the game boring real fast. I like the idea of not rewarding bot-outs, but sometimes they last longer on neutral because they're not worth taking out.

I'm sort of at the point where I wonder if that's possible. I play open lobbies. I could theoretically play expert plus like JJ but that would mean many multi hour stalemates that I can't publish to YT and also facing a constant stream of snipers trying to game ruin of get my account banned. I think the way that truth got number one is more consistent partially because he isn't the largest content creator in the space teaching everyone how to specifically address what he's doing and partially because they're actually better settings. So what do you suggest? I'm pretty open minded to creating content that's compelling risk television but I am sensing that I'm close to maxed out on what it's possible to learn on the current meta settings in open lobbies.

Unreal how ur games pan out. Every game I play, never can I have borders with only one defender that other players leave alone. U seem to always get cheap. What’s ur secret ?

I lose a lot too. There's definitely a sampling bias here. The real trick to holding undefended fronts with your neighbour is making sure they know what they stand to lose if they screw you over

First of all, GG. Second, obviously you didnt report green and magenta for collab because they both quit presumably after green got obliterated, is your rational there because they had already quit and wouldnt affect the game anymore or is it that the report system is mostly for show and has little actual functional usage, of course the third option can be "shrug".

There's a fourth option which is that it's just a coïncidence that they quit around the same time. Even though it might seem obviously suspicious, it's also a really good habit to not assume malice on very little evidence.

When people ask me about the reporting system I always recommend over reporting since we have to but remind people that the fact that we have to is an absolute travesty and is bad for the game.

@@alazrabed sure it **could** be coincidence, but there was a lot more evidence than just them botting at the same time. Magenta threw a lot of material at the area that green eventually took over, magenta had a killguard on green, etc.

Neutral bots EU advanced caps is not an improvement IMO, slows the game down too much making snowballs more likely, SMG should ensure botting out locks in the lowest available placement while allowing bots to continue playing the position so the game isn't ruined, but playing around huge bots can be really fun to watch and to play. I'd also say fog and alliances is also not good for balance as it basically forces alliances and severely disadvantages those who don't comply. The only real improvement to the meta settings are in SMGs hands at this point, main issue currently is positive cap rolls in balanced blitz and also positive 0% rolls. Although the ability to place blizzards could be a nice addition (imagine each player places a blizzard then everyone places their cap) or maybe even a multiple cap option. Moving blizzards may be complicated but could be amazing, but caps would probably have to be immune and they also couldn't cut the map in half completely

@TheKillPeteStrategy it was a play on your title for the video Pete. Besides, we all know that intentionally or not, you do have at least a small impact on the meta. You play, and you show your videos to a wide audience, some of whom also play. Take heart in the fact that you would have an effect whether we watched your videos or not, though. It might have been smaller if you never did KZbin, but you are a great risk player and as such people will follow your tactics and possibly your meta no matter what.
