I did the 25/5 and admittedly found it difficult the first three days but then something switched in my perception and I found it much easier to do. In fact, I found myself still coming up with attributes after the 5 days and was excited to add them to my add-ons. I keep that paper folded up and stashed in my most current journal to refer to often. It truly is a game changer…no, a marriage changer! We still have much to work on but NOW we feel it’s worth the time and effort. Thank you so much, Dr. Paul, for your You Tube Channel! Btw… this August will be 37 years ❤️😉

Some of us are in relationships where our spouses are only do the bare minimum or would rather spend four hours on her laptop at the end of the day and find something fun to do with their spouse. We have tried, I have tried, so much: reading books, watching these videos, trying to implement advice from Dr. Phil, sending videos to my husband and asking him to do activities with me to work on our marriage. If we disagree fundamentally as parents, he doesn’t see that there is a problem and I am so unhappy that I am slowly killing myself with bad behavior and other unhealthy Band-Aids. There are countless examples where I feel like my husband just does not get it. He does not seem to understand or want to really do the work. We watched the other video and he got excited about the 95, five example but when I mentioned the 25 gratitude list he said, “well I don’t know about that.“

I have tried this practice for 30 days. Last weekend my wife finished cleaning out her things in our bedroom and completely moved into the guest room. She regularly leaves early for work and regularly comes home late. Most days she is gone for 12-14 hours a day. Many days pass and we don't even see each other. I can text her and may get a response back. Often times hours later. On the weekends she secludes her self to the guest room or leaves for hours without a word. Now what do you suggest???
@LiveOnPurposeTV2 жыл бұрын
Find the playlist and watch some of the videos on marriage we have there. There are getting to be quite a few. Can you leave her notes that you are thinking of her or put her favorite food in the fridge? Order takeout and ask if she would like some? Do small acts of service everyday.
@daisyhuntsmen80222 жыл бұрын
Ok I have to say, I was was Me and my Daughter. She would have gone through all the steps, and Taken the loan and the got the car. But on the trip home from the bank I would have heard Hell Breaking Open and Pouring over me, because how could I do that to her, humiliating and embarrassing her in front of a loan officer, if i had the money. (I swear I can hear her saying this) She would not hear the facts about how it a plan to build Credit Scores, not only for her but for me as well just as you said.. Your Son sounds exceptional. Good JOb!

My husband keeps telling me that he has custody of his older son from previous Marriage... Every time i said one wrong thing to him we have been married now for 8 years and now he is telling me this all the time and im getting sick of hearing it i love my husband but he has changed since i told him everything is (will) is my step son and i have told him that i was sorry for blaming him on everything... Before all of This happened he used to let me help him and now he wont im stuck can you please tell me how i can be nicer about this situation
@LiveOnPurposeTV4 жыл бұрын
10 fish fisher, I am not sure I understand everything, it has been going on for a while. I can say that being nicer is a choice. Commit to that choice and as you are more humble, I bet there will be a change. It may take a while, they won't know what is happening, but keep it up.

How do I fix the marriage when he thinks he never does anything wrong
@LiveOnPurposeTV4 жыл бұрын
Frankie Baker fb.therock, so frustrating. Get clear on what you control and what you don't. Start with yourself and model what kind of behavior you want to see from him. You will be able to influence him over time. Set up time to talk when there aren't any distractions and don't be on the attack, listen to what he says and don't react. You may need some professional help to do this. Get in touch with one of our client experience guides.
