Buddy, this legitimately saved my night. I'm in a tournament and credit 3 of my wins to using the whole table to play safe instead of trying a super precise 3 inch safety shot where speed is so difficult to control.

In my career I lost many matches by playing safe...... it's better to run out..... however, sometimes YOU BETTER KNOW HOW TO PLAY A GOOD SAFE FROM NOWHERE.....just like knowing how to shoot from nowhere ..... the person with the complete game is the better player ..... yup .... thanks for the vids Mr. TERMINATOR ..... funny about acquiring names..... I think most called me truckdriver 30-40 years ago ..... you have indeed proven to be a terminator.....learned a lot since you were a kid and now a HUUUUGE asset to the game/sport

@@geraldlikens4750 he says your not worried about the leave. When you do this drill it will help you so when there is balls on the table you know how to leave separation between the balls so you can stitch your competition behind balls.

Great channel. During play at what point do you decide to play safe vice go for the shot. Obviously sometimes you don't even have a shot so the decision is easy, but a lot of the times there is a possible shot or a bank shot. I hear people talk about percentages. Maybe a video on your thought process when deciding to go safe vs go for the shot. Thanks Niels.
@NielsTheTerminatorFeijen3 жыл бұрын
Yes good point. It's all about the %. If the shot is 30% change of a make and the safe 80% then best to play safe. If it's 50 50, then perhaps best to go for the shot. Cause then you have a chance to win vs not playing a good safe and now you loose automatically without giving yourself a chance. Good video making tip! Tnx!

Hey Niels, I just found out that you have a glass eye, how has that affected your aiming and I'd love to hear more life stories type videos besides the tutorials and drills about how you became Niels. Thanks
@NielsTheTerminatorFeijen3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I was born with a lazy left eye. Not glass eye. The docs found out too late so taping off my good eye at age 3 was too late at that time. It got stuck at 5% vision. So my one good eye does most of the work 😄😄

really quick question: what determines which side the little brother and big brother zones are from where you're shooting? It seems as though in the video it always changes so I'm kind of confused on which side they're on
@NielsTheTerminatorFeijen3 жыл бұрын
Every shot you can choose so it doesn't matter where you are standing. All depends on which ball you feel you can get best in the small zone, then call that one and the other zone is automatically for the other ball and has more room.
What are the dimensions of that particular room? Thanks
@NielsTheTerminatorFeijen3 жыл бұрын
Bit small on the sides 4,40m. Plenty of length, around 7-8m
@Dhirallin3 жыл бұрын
Hey Niels, for the shots where you're hitting the object ball full in the face, such as 6:45, why do you play them with max high instead of as a stop shot?
@NielsTheTerminatorFeijen3 жыл бұрын
Because the topspin actually makes the cue ball stops. The topspin reverses after contacting the rail. Video coming out today with kick shots and the same concept! 😀💪👍
