Enjoy watching Team USA Triple Jumper Tori Franklin show you some drills to improve your Hop Phase because in this phase you set up the rest of your jump: There are three phases of the Triple Jump: the Hop phase (you take off with one leg and land on the exact same leg), the Step phase (you push off, swinging your opposite leg as long as possible), and the Jump phase (the final push of the Triple Jump).
Always remember:
1) Don't reach at the board
2) Have a full cycle on your hop phase
3) Snap at the ground quickly
