I have never clicked on a video so fast. I’ve been researching how to get a better a grip and this popped up at the right time. Thank you in advance 🤗

I have an okay grip, nothing special but not bad either. But when I do exercises that really stress the forearms, if it's hard enough that my forearms are still hurting in the evening, it can get bad enough that I can't really sleep. Forearms seem to be the only body part where it really keeps me up. Anything one can do about that? Mainly reducing the pain, without medication.

I mean a lot of places do sell extensor bands and you could even just fill up a bucket with sand and pinch your fingers together poke the sand and then spread your fingers apart and repeat, what you are dealing with is a lot of shortening of one side of the bone via the muscles and you need to strengthen both sides so that you don't get injuries in the joints. Another thing is really working on your wrist flexibility learning warm-ups from gymnasts to help with the wrist so that the shortened flexors can start to lengthen while you work on the extensor strength

I've been into grip training for some time. I've also been a big truck driver for a long time. I've found what destroys my hands and forearms more than anything is the climbing, pulling and lifting on the job. I don't know if it translates to gains but my hands scream in pain all the time. Maybe it's a recovery issue ?
