Did you know your thumb is nearly half your hand function? So if your hands feel weak, you can increase your overall hand strength by strengthening your thumbs.
In this video Michelle will guide you through 5 Thumb Strengthening Exercises, none of which involve any pinching!
These exercises work out the small but mighty intrinsic thenar muscles in your hand. Basically those are the meaty muscles of your thumb that helps you pinch, carry, and manipulate objects.
All you need is therapy putty - I’m opting for a soft resistance, but choose resistance that feels right for you. And I prefer at least 4 ounces so you have enough to work with.

Keep in mind more resistance is not always better when it comes to the small muscles of your thumb. Each exercise lasts just 1 minute, giving you a quick yet powerful 5-minute thumb workout. Let's dive in and boost that thumb strength!

Sure!You could try to do these in a bowl of rice or even place flour in a bag, that way you have some resistance.
