We should focus on more of what we want in life rather than what we don’t want. Instead of saying “I don’t want to be mistreated” opt for “ I want to be treated with respect” ❤️

A tip I got from a book on CPTSD by Pete Walker: To fight those negative voices, give yourself permission to internally be angry at them and cuss them out. A lot of these voices come from abusive people such as our parents pouring this stuff on us when we were small, vulnerable children with no one to stick up for us. As adults to turn this around in our own heads, cussing those voices off has two benefits: 1)It reminds you that those voices are not yours and they're not welcome in your head 2)A deep vulnerable part of you is finally feeling like someone is sticking up for you -- not staying silent, not being some passive, wimpy enabler. Someone is saying how dare you and fuck off. It was a huge relief for me to read that and it makes total sense to me.

❤ My aunt sent me to your channel. I was in a marriage for nine years with a malignant narcissist and I am codependent . I have been divorced for almost four years and after what your videos have taught me my perception and understanding of everything has changed. I did not know I was with a malignant narcissist or that I also was codependent I thought I was just married to a bipolar man. I wish I could get a free coaching session with you. Thank you for all of your hard work I think you are changing the world you are such an inspiration. ❤

You are such a great coach, I relate with the Heartache part. I went thru the most excruciating painful heartbreak for me to raise my standards and it is working for me, even if I know I risk losing the person I create a bond with, I just know that I want to be loved in a way that is going to make me happy if not then that person is not for me. 😊

Hello Stephanie, Your video's have been my boost for mental clarity some days, & my sanity for other days. I was married to a narcissist for 20 years & have been divorced 3 years now... We have 4 kids together 3 living with me full time, my oldest left at 17 & went completely off the wall into trouble, she doesn't live here anymore, my second oldest is leaving this Sunday after graduating tomorrow, for her new start in life away from home. So, I have 2 young kids left son age 13.5 daughter age 11.5. I have since been on and off with my ex as I know it's normal to have that addiction mentality or whatever is keeping me from letting go of him but, the point is I am having the worst time letting go... I still live in our home legally I have it until my daughter turns 18 then I am supposed to sell it. But, after divorce I suffered so hard emotionally that I let my credit and finances go to crap (and, I had very good credit before) and my life financially turned upside down. And, currently still is.. I work as a appraisal reviewer from home.. but, the income is terrible and in winter there's hardly any hours... etc. etc. But, I am trying to build my online income again as I used to sell just on platforms clothing, jewelry, etc. And, I did well but, that is also the problem I haven't been able to just list my stuff as I have the very bad block from him always telling me, "all I care about is money".. Well, I'm a capricorn and no that's not all I care about or, I wouldn't have my kids he would.. I care about my kids and I'm a good mom I need to be a much better mom and live by example to my kids meaning that the way we are living now, is not the example at all that I want for my kids. And, I'm having the hardest time just going for it and listing and making the money I know I can make from it.. Instead, we are suffering financially worse than bad. Anyways, sorry for this long book I am posting.. But, you get the idea I'm not doing well mentally at all. And, I haven't been able to find the right formula to break free again? I've tried counseling, numerous counselors who don't get it to the degree I need them to understand. So, my life instead of progressing, & moving forward healthy is not progressing at all, & not moving forward in a healthy way... only time is moving forward & very fast. My kids are growing very fast, & I'm not mentally healthy enough to be what I need to be for them & myself!

Hey Stephanie, I really would like to have personal session with you, I have read many books to understand narcissistic personality as I am living with my narcissistic husband, now I felt life is draining me from moving forward. I had always been at the most confident person and had great values until I married to a narcissist and it was like slow growing mold that tore my self-esteem down over 27 years.of marriage. I have been watching podcast after a podcast and I am slowly rebuilding myself after going through this divorce I need to get back to my values that he took away and That I allowed over time to keep my marriage and family. No more.. I valued myself enough to get out of that marriage is hard and it’s painful as it has been I know in my heart I made the right decision 🙏🏻. Heart over mind is brutal

I love your direct approach to relationship advice! I am currently dealing with heartbreak from my boyfriend of 3 years leaving me for another woman. He left me with no real explanation and no actual breakup....I only just now (six months later) found about about the other woman now that they are going public with their hidden relationship. It’s been very embarrassing and very difficult for me to deal with on so many layers (no closure, betrayal, abandonment, lies, crushing my self esteem). I would love a free session with you to hopefully start a road to recovery.

I would like a session with you, Stephanie! Your videos and FB posts inspire me daily. :) I am recovering from a marriage to an individual with NPD. I know the road is long and trying to co-parent is proving difficult, but I am fighting to keep that ego at bay and practice self-love. Thank you for all you do!
