I was always so confused, and right when you said plastic bag and vaccum, life finally made sense again!

Use a remote for Christmas lights to turn on and off the shop vac for a 1 person job.

That's a great idea!

I was replacing old/outdated CAT5 and telephone cables. Starting off, I attached a pull string on one end and started pulling. However, conduit was infested with termites and they ate through the plastic jacket, the wire broke in half! I ended up with empty conduit without pull string.. This saved the project... thanks!

Oh yeah I forgot to mention: Another conduit was clogged with termite mound debris. Initial vac attempt wont wont (no suction). So i had to blow compressed air first. After that, the vac and DONE! easy!

By the way you used plumbing tees in your video. The national electric code doesn’t recognize plumbing fittings on schedule 40 PVC as identified for the use. Novice homeowners will see that suggestion, use it and get themselves in a whole Lotta trouble.

This is all exclusively low voltage wiring. Low voltage wiring doesn't need _any_ kind of conduit so even plumbing conduit is notably better than any code -- I could have used literal paper tubes and it would have been fine.

It’s called a fish tape dude. Or better yet just hire an electrician

I learned this technique from an electrician. It's very commonly used when running wire over either long distances or through notable bends. Fish tape doesn't do well in either of those cases but a pull cord shines in both.
