Fernco rubber fitting might have fit Over the bottom and then perhaps get the one with a larger opposite end to increase the diameter of PVC

Great video and feedback. Would love to know how you'd add a digital timer to one of the outlets. ie., when wiring this timer, should a GFCI outlet be before or after the timer? eg. Supply --> GFCI outlet --> Timer --> Outside outlet? OR Supply --> Regular outlet --> Timer --> GFCI outdoor outlet. Thanks.
@granworks23 күн бұрын
The scenario you describe is almost identical to any number of bathroom fan timer setups, just with the timer controlling another outlet rather than a fan. That doesn't actually change anything. Like in a bathroom case, switches (timers are switches) are not required to be GFCI protected according to the NEC. Thus, technically speaking, either of your scenarios would work. I do personally always GFCI protect my switches, even though it's not required.

#1 trowel needed is a 3/4 inch in order to fill the voids. #2 there is a product called grout release by 511 that makes the grout not stick #3 zep stripper to remove old sealer and clean pavers #4 Saltillos should be sealed with water based acrylic sealer aka behr low luster/ behr high gloss #5 grout paint is horrible. Don't use it. Makes maintenance a pain.
@rigovaldez24692 ай бұрын
You need to let the grout dry and sort of cure then use a hard bristle brush to remove excess grout makes it easier to clean when it’s slightly dry and no the Saltillo doesn’t stain
@rigovaldez24692 ай бұрын
Also you should really use 1/2” trowel on floor and back butter another 1/2”

I’ve never had to soak Saltillo and never seen this done at any job lol and there’s tiles in Mexican haciendas that have been there 100+ years and I’m sure they didn’t waste water on soaking it it’s all about knowing what your doing and how to do it and mixing the thin set to the right consistency

Sir, every "gardening" thing you gonna do from now on will be not healthy/contaminated with oil and not safe for you and your family to eat. Also, don't trow it away in your yard because it will contaminate your water supply. I believe it is super effective, but at the cost of poisoning you, your loved ones and the environment. Best wishes.

Try the Troll panel carrier 49. It’s like the first item but steel and like the last item because it includes wheels. $50 at the big box store. On flat terrain you just push the goods along over cords and hoses. When you get to steps just lift like the first item.

Another thing put 2x stickers on the floor before you rack panels against a wall. Also it’s not good to store panels on edge long term.

I like your video, but I need some advice. I have a recessed outlet box in my patio that I want to keep and use the outlet. I want to add another outlet about 8 feet above it. How do I get the power from the recessed box without trying to fish for wire behind the wall? I want to do this all externally. Is there a box extender for the recessed box? Thank you.
@granworks7 ай бұрын
Yes, look for an "extension ring" with "knockouts". You can get them in single-gang, square, round, and weatherproof and they all attach to your existing recessed outlet box. Some example: granworks.com/homedepot/square-extension-ring and granworks.com/homedepot/weatherproof-extension-ring

Nice video. I was wondering though if you if could have created a more flushed and cleaner look by connecting the WHIP to the side of the box instead of behind it with 90 deg connector. I have the same type of whip and in order for me to connect the 90 degree connector I have to rotate the electrical box 90 degree landscape orientation which will probably make it look weird but will still work.
@granworks7 ай бұрын
The specific weatherproof box I had didn't have very many knockouts on the sides and so since I could access it from behind, I considered that a cleaner look. There are weatherproof boxes with more knockouts, though, and so yeah, you probably can make it more flush to the wall by using an available side knockout.

I like this idea, but it seems to me that a designated spot in the yard that has a large container that prevents the oil from contaminating the soil would be a lot easier to use, and there would be no need to move a 60 lb. bucket that clearly isn't deep enough for the job.
