I have everything wire on my Nissan kicks I’m running the amp and subwoofer from the back passenger speaker and it’s not working for some reason I also have a hi low remote but it’s still no good any help?

Make sure the ground wire is firmly attached or grounded to chasis body.

Finding an accessory power and adding a relay with a diode is the least of an installers' worry. Just let someone who knows do the job. I added a fused relay fed by accessory power from deck as trigger. It powers my cap led, remote for amp, and a USB car charger for led strip. I think back to when I was intimidated by a relay, and now we're best friends.

I have a jl 500.1 amp, and a 12 w6 jl sub. Im running 8 gauge wire right now, if i switched to 4 gauge would it make a differnce?

What if the car comes with an amp from the factory. Can i unplug it and use the wires for the new amp?

I got that kicker loc, so I don’t need to run a remote wire to the fuse box so it turns on with the car (power mirrors for ex)

No i dont think so since Subs and Door speakers have different purposes and produce different kinds of sound.

Why do you need the loc when the rd500/1 takes high or low level inputs

The ac adapter thing needs a place to be plugged into some factory speakers need the loc I know I do I just order my 12 inch skar audio and I’m waiting on the adapter tomorrow

With a line output converter with remote turn on, it won't matter the size/power of the amp - it'll work with all of them.

I would just wire a separate system in myself. I hate the "safety" bullshit they add. You can't hook your phone up in gear not moving, 20-30 second safety warning every time you turn the car on, can't have volume control while backing up because anything past 10% you will crash even in your driveway
