I haven't moved to 1.19.4 yet so I'm not sure if there's something wrong with it, but in theory if you followed everything above but made everything 1.19.4 (fabric INSTALLATION, fabric MOD, and Vivecraft), and make sure they're the fabric versions and not the forge version it should be working! If you can't get it to work I recommend posting a ticket to the Vivecraft github

if you got the vivecraft 1.19.4 FABRIC (double check you didnt download the FORGE one)from curseforge and it isnt working, you may want to report that to vivecraft, otherwise if you have other mods make sure those arent causing any problems

normal server hosters that let you have a mod folder are simple enough! Just put the vivecraft mod .jar into the server .mod folder, then anyone who has the mod can see others in VR, whether they are in VR themselves or not!

If fabric was installed correctly, then make sure you downloaded the FABRIC version of Vivecraft and NOT the forge version, also make sure it matches your Minecraft version (i.e. 1.19.3)

Install steamvr, once your VR is connected to your PC (i.e. PC link through Oculus), launch steamvr, it should automatically show up on your PC once it's loaded !

When you launch minecraft does it launch normally? If so try hitting the button the VR button and relaunching, if you don't see it then there is a problem with the mod. You're making sure to open steam vr BEFORE launching MCVR right?

@@blank0111 From the looks of it in the Vivecraft discord, another person fixed the "not responding" by launching minecraft and steamvr as admin, but also mentioned its unwise because if you get attacked my malware through minecraft, it will have admin privileges. You can also try launching vivecraft without having steamvr open. If you need more help i'd recommend joining the Vivecraft discord, they have much smarter fellows there than me

Your VR has to be connected in some way at all time (whether it be a link cable or airlink, that is up to you) Or you can play the standalone version of Minecraft, but I am unfamiliar with it

Thanks for the response I checked if I have forge installed and I don’t, so I tried reinstalling vivecraft and it kinda worked; the vr button appears on the title screen but whenever I click it the game freezes and crashes. The config folder still doesn’t have that file.

And that one loads but I was trying to have it load as the fabric mod like you did so I could use some other mods. And it is the most recent fabric version

Go to your mods folder and make sure you downloaded the fabric version of the vivecraft jar file and not the forge version, there is a file for both but you have to use fabric because fabric is the mod loader you are using, not forge

How do i connect my oculus quest 2 to SteamVR?

Download steamvr if you don't have it, connect your headset to your PC using airlink, a PC link cable, or VD, launch steamvr through the headset

Steam VR is an app you get on steam, it's free, it's how you play pretty much any pcvr game, make sure steam vr is open and youre loaded into the steam vr environment before opening Minecraft

Hey, will this work for servers? So if a server isn't fabric but has the vivecraft plugin will I still be able to play?

@@live4mint I'm sorry I don't understand what this says, if you're talking about using them on Oculus quest, then through quest craft they might work, I've been told that it works by one person and that it doesn't by another

If you don't see the fabric version in the bottom corner of the main menu, then something is wrong with how you installed fabric If you do see it but you can't boot into VR, reinstall it and try again Make sure you have the correct versions of the mods (that match the version you are playing) and that you have steamvr open and your VR headset is on before you launch Minecraft in VR

When you boot into the game, do you see "fabric" in the bottom left? If not, its a problem with fabric, try reinstalling it! If you do, make sure you downloaded the correct version of vivecraft and that it is the fabric version and not the forge version

The fabric loader version doesnt show any options to go into the vr mode when i enter it

If you followed everything in the video, double check to see if you accidentally downloaded the FORGE version of Vivecraft instead of the FABRIC version! Make sure you have the FABRIC version for the version of Minecraft you're playing

@@spongythecreator-gk5ix make sure you have the right version of all of the mods (if you're on 1.19.3, then make sure you get theagest 1.19.3 version of the mods and their dependencies) Do you use any other mods?

Hello, I'm running vivecraft on modrinth with a bunch of other mods that I saw in your other videos. I'm having trouble with my quest 2 controllers. I can navigate the menu fine but when I load into a world my ingame hands stay as the ones in the menu and I can't do anything with them. I can turn my head around and see my hands moving ingame but my controllers dont seem to work. Any idea why?

Hmm that's a very odd issue, try restarting, and see whether you're in seated/standing mode in the VR part of the Minecraft settings

@@cheezbean1932 Ive never encountered a problem like that personally, you could try removing all mods besides your mod loader and Vivecraft, but if that doesn't do anything I would attempt to reach out to the Vivecraft discord

Seems to be nvidium (wasn't in your video btw). Also, is there any way to make steam vr look better? As ingame through my quest 2 it doesnt look that great, but I can't really tell if its my quest 2 that is causing this.

It looks like you have a quest 2, have you tried Questcraft? (Vivecraft native on quest)

Public ones? Probably not unless theyre supportive of Vivecraft, the anti cheat would probably kick you. But for private servers it should work and you can message the owner to install vivecraft to the server so everyone can see you playing in VR
