Yoo if you still need help, use a screw driver to twist and as you twist hold down the other layer of the ring (there's two) think of a bigger circle inside a smaller circle As you hold and twist the inner one should begin to rise, when it does just pull it out!

At 6:37 you installed the black plastic screws or whatever they call them. I lost both of mine in less than a month. I am wondering how yours held up? Idk if I should replace with stainless nut and bolt or order new from rally armor

If I'm understanding how that rear bracket works, only only 1 screw attaches into an original holes in the vehicle. Is that correct?
