Thanks for sharing. Trying to get into canoe camping this upcoming season and I'm doing some research ahead of time. I was considering paying for this upgrade on a swift canoe (if I buy one from them) but now that I know they are doing the same thing I would be....I'll do it myself when I know where and what I want on there. I have the same track and want to install it on my swift canoe. My canoe has a cherry wood thwart. What would i use to attach it to the thwart? A wood screw?
