Great video. I'm stuck with the rear cam because my wife's lexus glass is at a crazy slanted angle do they make something to fix that ?.

I made a tiny plexiglass attachment with 3 m tape. I bent the plexiglass that goes on the glass so its the same shape as the rear glass. Built tiny sides and boxed it off and glued it all together. 3m taped my lil plexiglass piece then 3m the back camera to that. Hasn’t fallen off in 2 months either nor does it move.

This really helped me. I jsut have one question. If you don't have a Jeep and something like a Ford Fiesta (like my work car where I want to install my cam) what would happen if you open the trunk? Wouldn't it rip the cable out? I have to open my trunk on a regular basis...

Is there an app for this dash cam Do the ir activates throught the glass to see the vandals? How do i view the micro sd on my lap top? I tried several times but to know avail. I really need how to do so becausr someone has been vandalizing cars in the neighborhood . This is our 6th dash cam and we have to no avail who that person is. Thanks Vicky

Just ordered mine but haven't received yet. I know it comes with a type C to usb cord and I believe on the Vantrue.net web site there is a program to download to your laptop

There's no app for this dash cam The IR activates on the inside by itself if you set it on "automatic" mode. So it will sense when it needs more light and will turn on by itself. And you can by a USB drive where you can insert the micro SD into it and insert the whole USB into the laptop I know this is a late response but hope it helps!

According to side by side comparisons, this dashcam is NOT 4k using any of its three lenses. Use utube to see clips where others have tested this cam. I’m disappointed because I wanted to purchase one.

Unfortunately with COVID, they didn’t send out any more units :( I had 2, I gave them both away from the random draws we did (well technically Viofo did) but I’m hoping I might have some more in the future but with covid and such it’s difficult because Viofo and even Blackvue too have some shipping restrictions now.

this product is garbage. i bought it last year, warranty is 18 month, but they are not covering neither helping with anything. audio is very low, video quality is poor, sometimes when you transfer video in your computer it gets corrupted and it show blank screen. also it gets overheated and smell burning cable (i use simple with cigaret lighter socket

Just be careful with your headliner. Hiding the cables under the weather stripping works very well. The rear sliding window will slide with just enough space behind it.

Thank you for this explanation! I was sceptical with the installment. I did not know you could do it this way. I just installed it in my brother's car but made the mistake to put the rear camera's cable on the same side as the front camera's cable. Now I'll have to remove it and do it from the other side. :D

3 yrs ago lighting was bad hahaha for sure. Buy a Blackvue DR970X as my favourite dahscam currently. Highly suggest. Check new vids for more ☺️

Sometimes if you can find a smll trim tool, sometimes dash-cams include the tool, it can help givey ou a bit of leverage. If all else fails though you could also order some retaining type small clips to stick against the window to run your cable there nicely.
