Would love to see the evos sliders installed. I’m on the fence between the sliders shown here and the Evos. Also, the total protection kit on the website includes the polymer oversized swingarm spools but no option for the smaller aluminum spools. Any chance they can be swapped out in the kit? Wish I had this about a week ago. Had an SUV stop short in front of me going 10-15 MPH. Engine case, bar end and rad guard have a bit of rash. Having Yamaha check it out to make sure frame and forks are good. After repair I'll be placing my order

I heard the dowel syle sliders can damage the frame in a crash as opposed to multi point aluminum brace style (for lack of better descriptive words) I was going to put the dowel style on my new Tracer9 (which IS the MT09 with a bunch of added pork) but that is where I started reading warnings not to go there with the type aluminum frame on the MT09/T9gt I would love to hear from someone maybe a stunter type that has crashed their MT09 rather hard with the dowel style to learn how things fared!

The best I can do for you right now is this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/aX7Ci4GcpLSVgJo We do have a multi point frame slider setup for this bike but we pulled it off the market for a couple weeks to refine one of the attachment brackets. Some of the tolerance stackups from Yamaha do not work with the original bracket so we had to address that.

Hi I have bought this crash protection kit for my Yamaha MT09SP and I am very pleased with it but in your video it shows you have fitted to your SP the Womtech TST Industries shorty levers? Yet on your website it says they will not fit the Yamaha MT09SP? What is the issue with them? is it something to do with the cruise control on the SP Model? I have fitted bar end mirrors with your protection kit bar ends but the clutch lever touches the mirror holding bracket! so now I am now in need of some shorter levers! a simple spacer/washer was my solution in the meantime!

Womet has not redesigned the levers yet although we delivered the information for the design change. On the SP the read switch button on the clutch perch does not engage properly with the lever fulcrum and some of the functionality gets disrupted. So we installed them on one bike and made the necessary modifications but we don't want to ask our clients to make these modifications during installation. We are patiently waiting for Womet to make the new type based on our specifications.

Can’t help but notice that you have the WOMET-TECH EVOS SHORTY LEVER KIT FOR YAMAHA YZF-R1 / YZF-R6 / MT-09 installed. The very same one that you state doesn’t work with the SP model. I’ll be suspending any further purchases until you make it possible to have a set on my SP.
