I’m too old for periods now but from 18-30 I had pain that was so bad, I’d black out and wake up on pavements covered in my own sick with strangers trying to help me up. Throwing up with pain as it was so intense sometimes. No painkiller would ever help, it was excruciating. I would crawl around my house crying. It took 12yr of this horror to discover I was low in certain vitamins and minerals.

@bloochoob Жыл бұрын
@@LB-lx6jo Sure, I was low in all the B vitamins, D3, K, Zinc, Iron (terrible anaemia) and it was all well before Internet so I never even thought about nutrients etc. The paracetamol did nothing, I’d take 4 at once and it was like I’d taken nothing! I used to describe it as someone putting a stick blender up there and switching it on, it was agony. Ibuprofen didn’t seem to be around in UK as commonly as now, so I wasn’t told about it, and when I did get it (Nurofen in UK) OMG, it really helped! No doc had ever suggested it. I had had years of the agony before that, it was the 80s. I hear primrose oil and starflower oil helps some women too. Good luck! 🌻

Me too, it was excruciating. From age 10 to age 35! A male doctor told me the cause was that I was "rejecting (my) womanhood." Honestly, that was the thinking back then. I finally figured out that I drank tons of milk and got too much calcium but needed Magnesium, which I did not get enough of. Thankfully I had a very easy menopause at age 50.

STOP EATING A HIGH CARB DIET! Trust me. I use to have horrible cramps until I completely cut out processed carbs like bread, pasta, sugar, cookies, potatoes... I would notice that the blood clots during menstruation was thick because carbs especially sugar and flour causes the blood to stick together and clot. When the blood is too thick then the uterus needs to CONTRACT more to push out the blood and this contraction is painful (similar to giving birth). Now my menstruation is painless and the blood is less thick on a clean Keto-vore diet.

Information like this should be regularly available to everyone. when I was a teen, no information was out there except take Tylenol or something. If you don’t take it before the symptoms, it makes it ineffective. Not to mention some women can experience server diarrhea and vomiting, which makes taking anything by mouth impossible. As I got older, natural methods like heating pads, etc. helped. But without instructions, how do you know when to take what. I would literally not eat for like 3 days until I felt somewhat functional when I was younger. My doctor recommended birth control pills to help with the symptoms. Basically, over the years I tried almost every random thing on the internet and recommended by doctors. Smh.

I don't have any pathological problems so my gynecologist kept on prescribing painkillers that didn't always work and also, over the years my body got used to them and they didn't work at all. So after 25 years of suffering I accidentally discovered that chicory juice can almost eliminate the pain within 10-15 minutes when it's consumed slightly hot. I like drinking it with some lemon for better taste and the results are always the same. The pain dissapears! Another plant recommended for period pains is achillea I haven't tried it yet so I ll give you feedback soon.

I drink 2 mugs of organic loose leaf raspberry leaf tea with spring water only everyday for a few days before my period starts and then up to 3 mugs a day everyday of my period and I have no more cramps, much lighter flow and my period has even shortened!! Also I switched to all organic pads & tampons and take weekly organic apple cider vinegar baths, all absolutely life changing!!! Implement these into her period routine asap!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I was able to completely eliminate my period cramps by going on an all organic diet. Local grass-fed meat and organic vegetables. That’s just my experience.

Organic helps alot because not organic meat is full of chemicals and hormones which imbalances that’s why we get painful cramps

All of dr berg suggestions + my own personal favourite not mentioned here is a good old fashioned hot water bottle, not one of those pre filled microwave ones just a regular hot water one, follow the instructions for filling and it will be fine, I think it’s a combination of the warmth plus the weight of the bottle….feels like a warm hug for your tummy x

in Indonesia the most common for menstrual cramp is taking Turmeric juice. Traditionally takes about 2-3 days before and during period.

I made a discovery a couple years back and feel stupid I didnt come up with it sooner. Ive know for years that more out alignment I was the worse that pain and cramping was, so it always varied. One thing is consistent with my body and most people's in my practice (Rolfing) I would say 95% of my clients have one hip forward and the other back. Simple test, stand what you feel is square. Look down, if one foot is more forward its highly likely that hip is forward as well. The discovery was to lay on the side that the hip is back, knees bent slightly and stacked now take that hip that is forward and move it back so your legs are staggered. I usually am able to fall asleep like this. The pain subsides almost immediately for me. However I make sure and do magnesium and my body responds quite quickly to stretching. I often wake up in pain again to realize Im out of that position, I go back in and again immediate relief enough to fall back asleep

Iovaries hurt too. I had by choice my uterus removed in my mind 30s 34 I believe. And every so often I had period pain , not nearly as bad. Now in my early 50s it's so rare, but praise God I'm not having menopause. Nothing has changed 🎉🙏💯

Thanks for the remedy, very helpful, also please help us know the cause for cysts ruptures with very painful periods , causing dizziness ,fainting and how to prevent ?
@dpader7 Жыл бұрын
The cause of the cyst ruptures (in my own personal experiences) are from inflammation. No doctor has been able to tell me why they burst other than that it’s natural they do. Any time I’ve gotten sick from a burst cyst, I noticed it was due to my uptake of sugar. It’s been a month since my last painful cyst burst and so far I feel great. My period is a few days later than normal but I’m not feeling those pre PMS signs that I usually feel when I’m about to start. And I haven’t eaten anything other than my own fresh homemade meals consisting of meats, veggies, nuts, fruits, sweet potatoes. So pretty much Paleo. Goodluck to you my friend, you are not alone. Trust your diet though

I was always able to keep going when my monthly cycle hit. Sure, there was cramping and the usual discomfort, but I didn’t succumb to it. I couldn’t…there was school and other responsibilities and obligations. I don’t know if it was because my issues weren’t that bad or because I tend to be more tolerant to pain. By younger sister practically fell apart when it hit every month…laying in a fetal position, taking midol and using a heating pad on her tummy. I never could figure it out. Now I’m 72; menopause was also easy compared to stories I’ve heard.

There's a product called "period underwear" that came out a few years back. You wear it, wash it, let it dry and no more buying disposable pads. The surprising benefit is most women who switched to these, found their pms lessening greatly or even disappearing all together. It also reduced heavy bleeding and reduced the length of each cycle. Some women began making their own sanitary pads from muslin or other unbleached absorbent materials and also experienced reduction of pms and shortened menstrual cycles. For any women who want to sew their own products, I know that Heidi from Rain Country Homestead has a detailed YT video on that and I'm sure there's others, as well.
