Doctor, you are my hero! You just described everything I'm going through, I didn't know it was called the sciatic nerve pain. The doctor referred me to MRI for back pain on the left and shooting pain all the way to my foot. As if you always know what I'm going through! On my way to work, will be doing these exercises when I get back🙏🏽

Perfect timing. I have had sciatica issues for about 15 years, but just about a month ago, the sciatica in now in my shon and calf. I use a tens unit which helps, but having stretches also is nice.

Dr Rowe I did not realize the cramping in my leg which starts from my foot arch and travels all the way up to my lower back were related to the sciatic nerve. Thank you for all of your helpful videos, but especially this one.

Doc I’m new to this issue. Found out I have major back problems with 15 “locked up” vertebrae in my back. But the sciatica just started about a month ago and I’ve been doing basic stretches, but today the pain was so bad in my calf that if you gave me the option of amputation I might have strongly considered it. Why does this have to be SOOO painful. And I’m a pretty tough dude with an extremely high pain tolerance and it’s just so constant and extreme that it’s wearing me down. I came to here as a last hope to try to find some relief. Well I just followed this routine and it’s sooo much better. It not gone but I’m sitting here and I’m not wincing anymore. The wall one didn’t work at all. It put the pain back in my calf and amplified it. But the sitting heel down and tilting my head helped me the most BY FAR. I don’t usually comment on videos but I had to on this one to say THANK YOU! I’ll take any relief at this moment and you provided that. Well done. I’m going to follow you and check out your other videos. THANKS AGAIN!!

Thanks, Doc Rowe! My sciatica problems seem to be slowly working itself down to my calves, ankles and my plantar fascia. I started with the first three exercises and woke up feeling less pain and restriction. I'll do some more tonight.

I get zero pain when squatting or deadlifting. When I walk after about 15 minutes I get really tight calves specifically on one side. That same side piriformis muscle is tight when tested. I will give these a try.
