Great tip. Gonna try it. I cleaned our battery powered security camera yesterday while charging it and within 4 hours of remounting it, a 🤬🤬 spider had moved in! It’s supposed to last for 6 months between charges, but the spiders triggering it constantly causes it to flatten in a month.

I have outdoor string lights (“Edison bulb” types) on my porch and they are getting covered w/ spider webs. Will this trick work for those? I’m guessing I should not allow the vapor rub solution to touch the bulb glass, right?
@MrKnowItAllGuru2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, and you are correct, don't let the vics hit the bulbs too much. Thank you for watching and asking, have a great week my friend. GuruMike

If you don't allow sufficient 3 minute warm up time at idle of that chainsaw before revving the hell out of it, you'll score the inside of the cylinder wall right next to the exhaust port and thus bugger the rings and loose compression! Also, use a quality synthetic chainsaw oil mix that takes the heat much better too!! Lastly, make sure that you take and shake up your fuel/oil mix before topping off the fuel tank!! There is a remote chance on some of these chainsaws get topped off by accident that doesn't have oil mixed in, because they grabbed the wrong fuel jug because the jugs aren't properly marked which one is which and that could easily lead to rings failure and loss of compression or/and at worst seize up the engine.

You could always just put a Flea Collar around your Camera's because Flea Collars repel Spiders and other Bugs. They also last up to 7 Months if you get a Name Brand one like Hartz so you wouldn't have to do this every few Weeks.

Spiders get attracted to the IR light because their food (moths, flies etc) are attracted to IR light....also the bit of heat the camera creates attracts them.... Eventually you are faced with a spider... it's nature. Would you not go to the place where food is in abundance?

Any tips for keeping lizards 🦎 off cameras? They hang on the front showing off their junk or hang their tails in front of the lens setting off the motion sensor.
