There's no way I can't like the video enough. I, reaching 40yo, been struggling with this technique all my life, and for the first time I'm seeing results. Thank you so much guys!

I am just in the process of learning to do this. At the moment I can get good height from my kick but I am still landing on my back. Glad to know that the bridge exercise and the handstand push ups are in the right direction. I will attempt the backward roll push up to standing tonight to see if that helps. I am reasonably certain that one of my biggest problems is timing. Thanks for the tutorial though - its really helpful.

This really helped. I tried doing it but couldn't, so i said "eh whatever I can't do one". But then later I came back and tried again and i did it. Your tutorials are very helpful and really narrow everything down so people can get a better understanding of how to do one, and now i can teach my friends :)

Great tutorial! As an instructor this is something I have the most difficulty teaching my students how to do. Only about 20% of them actually are able to pull of this move. I liked that you not only explained the mechanics of the Kip Up but also went into detail on which exercises would be effective to progress and why.

A lot of people nowadays are getting into parkour, but martial artists have been doing parkour 100's of years before it was named. Jackie Chan since the 70's good example💯💯. The kip up, is a martial arts technique, used to quickly and effeciently stand up when your knocked down. Even though it is a very versatile tool in the technique book in many sports.

OK so I gotta say: overall nice Video. Now a few points to point out: 1. When going backwards NEVER land on your head, this can easily cause rupture to your neck muscels, and its very painfuil / dangerous 2. When bringing your knees to your face, dont kick your teeth in, its mandatory to keep them in a kick position to prevent that 3. Ofcourse landing into your knees is bad, but try not to heavily land on your butt as well, as it can cause serious ruptures to the lower end of your spine. 4. When preparing for the it and dont be too ambitious, you can learn to do bridges, but it is very advanced and dangerous to your hand joints.
