What caused your boss to change so much in the first place?
@ScottyGMusic2 жыл бұрын
I secretly interviewed for a different job a year ago; I was in the top 3, and upon seeing the facility, and meeting the staff in person, I thought "I'm all in on this new job, and I could retire here." I didn't get the job, but I would say that was the moment when I mentally quit my current job. I tried not to be obvious about it, but I have stopped checking in with my boss, like you mentioned. I am not in danger of getting fired, but I would certainly say the passion I once had is never coming back.

". . .in danger of getting fired." Why is it dangerous?
@ScottyGMusic Жыл бұрын
@@zackthebongripper7274 I consider not having an income dangerous. At the very least, it's unstable.

@@ScottyGMusic How is it dangerous, are you in imminent threat of death or serious injury?

OH MY! This is my exact situation! I feel less inspired as the days go by. I biggest red flag is when i don't get promoted+pay raise this year or early next year.

1 and 2 right now for me.

This is 1000% true! I am doing this now. Managers! Stop burning out your employees. Stop running them into the ground like slaves. Stop making them perform the jobs of multiple people (and without additional compensation). Recognize their efforts more often and treat them with the same respect your employees give you. Stop micromanaging and sending trivial emails all day. Then you will have employee satisfaction and retention.

You are absolutely right 100 percent. I've been really quiet before I gave my 2 week notice.

This is my current situation. We have done the same things.

Pay them more and leave them alone to do their job. Simple.
