You have got to be one of the few KZbin channels that go in depth about landings. I really appreciate these tutorial landing videos you have on your channel! I’m always looking for ways to improve my flying and your channel is a “go to” for me. Thanks for all you do ! Great looking edf model!

An informative and well done video! You are a diligent RC pilot and it is good to see how you are feeling better about your landings. Talking about how fast it was coming in before - reminds me of a story I read about an RAF pilot's first flight with a Spitfire. He set up in the pattern to come around for his first landing. Whoa . . . he couldn't get it down. He had cut back on throttle, but the air frame was so sleek and clean that it just wouldn't slow down. So, he went around again - and he got it figured out next time. I think your Avanti has a bit of that flavor. It seems so clean and has enough mass - that it seems easy for it to sail on by . . . unless you use the right kind of technique to bring it in with a bit less speed. You made a bunch of really smooth and gentle landings. Good show.

Have you flown the Viper 90? How would you compare these two as far as landings are concerned?

I haven't.. Friend who have it say it is an outstanding plane. The components on the Viper 90 and this Avanti are almost identical. (makes sense since FMS make the Viper 90). My friends Viper 90 doesn't slow down like this Avanti does. It could be his setup though.. But my Viper 70 is very susceptible dropping a wing at slower speeds.

I have not. It was on my list to get, but too many other planes cut in line...... I hear its the Gold standard for Sport Jets.
