This is probably one of your best fight techniques you've ever broken down. Most MMA videos you find online for self defense always teach combinations (that's not bad) so sometimes you end watching different vids that teach pretty much the same technique. Striking on the same side or doing combinations with one hand isn't something you find a lot in vids. It's very mike tyson like too. He was a beast of striking on the same side and one punch combinations. Love this vid man!

About the side control variant, if you have your far side arm underneath your opponent's bicep and push it up to their face- you get what's called "Twister Side Control" from the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu system. TSC offers basically a free hand in side control as the opponent would be pinned by your weight as well as have their arm trapped by your arm. Recommend anybody interested to search it up as it might lead to some cool discoveries.

JuJu Punch to blind followed by a kick. In boxing it will work (punch to blind followed by another punch using the same arm). Edit: Kinda risky since you're dropping your guard in longer time unlike the 1-2 (left-right) combo.

deathsgreenhorse I’d just open up the centerline with a parry off of a jab, jam the other hand and lower my legs a bit so they’re harder to take out with a kick to hyperextend my leg, then go to both eyes then the throat, pull them into me by the arm and take them down, and pull their shoulder out of socket, break the elbow or wrist, then from there you’ll watch them asphyxiate and slowly the life will fade from their eyes, and they’ll start to stop moving so violently and mellow down when they finally do die. You can attack a lot of the body but it’ll be hard to kill without a knife. Breaking bones is easy, but it will not kill. You will need to pulverize the crap out of the chest, punch them in the throat, or jarr their brain to the point of no return to kill, or break the neck and twist it to the point where the spinal cord tears. After that trauma, you’ll see a pained expression on their face, their mouth will be moving as if the person wanted to scream, but nothing will come out. The heart will stop beating and they’ll drop dead in about 50 seconds after no oxygen is transported to the brain by the molecule in the blood known as hemoglobin, and is used to fuel the body and its muscles. None of this is legal in sports, nor legal at all, but if I really felt that I was in serious danger, I wouldn’t hesitate. Watching someone die isn’t like what it is in the movies, it’s a bit of a process that takes some time. It’s a scary thing to watch as well.
