Here's the thing, everybody starts as an amateur, if you expect to keep pace with this guy and you're just getting into it, you're setting yourself up for mental and physical failure. Do what you can, then dig deep and do a little more. You'll never see improvement if you're stopping when you think you can't go anymore.

@jeremiahleonard2519

This IS NOT a practical workout for a beginner. PLEASE, do not attempt this work out if you are just starting to adopt a healthy lifestyle. ONLY do this IF you are already at an ADVANCED level or strong enough to work with your own BODY WEIGHT. If your are carrying more fat around your midsection and hips, YOU WILL likely injure yourself attempting these exercises. This workout routine is a GREAT level to work towards, but be realistic with yourself. I can bench press, squat, and pull-down more than my own body weight. But, like this guy said, these exercises are VERY different in that they require more muscles to be used at a time/per repetition.

Chris is doing intermittent fasting, means he is not eating for at least 16h and still training during this fasting period. I guess you are fasting due to ramadan, so your main problem is to stay hydrated rather than the fasting part (that's actually healthy, look intermittent fasting up if you're interested). Just make sure to drink a lot during your eating period and you should be good to go.

Thank you so much for this video, THENX. I’ve been strength training in the gym for a little over a year now (still in my teens) with my father. I just tried this workout for the first time, and I haven’t felt exhausted in this way for a long time. I’ve added this to my current workout routine, and also added declines pushups (wide, shoulder and diamond) in. Normally I don’t do cardio but with such small breaks in between sets it feels like I have. Soon I’ll be strong enough to do some of the more advanced workouts in the list. Again, thank you so much for posting this! I would have never seriously trained with body weight, but this has me convinced. Not giving up weight lifting but I think that this along with weight lifting will help me greatly.

you are talking shit. If your legs and butts are bigger you will seem like a giant , better than theese... You can do squats and leg press at lower reps for them. But you cant do theese with your body weight. For bigger legs you have to do max your weight and lower your reps for theese movements "6-8 reps". If you are able to go gym , you can do leg extensions and leg curls at high reps like 15-20 reps" . you can support theese moves with walking lunge and reverse lunges , also you can do deadlifts. If you want to look good you have to work your legs and butt! (if you can not go to gym you can press your brother , or carry your brother to do squats .)

Yo, Chris Heria, I've been enjoying your videos a lot and have made me begin doing calisthenics workouts mixed in with my general weight lifting! It's been a lot of fun. Anyway I have a couple questions. 1. Have you ever tried typewriter pull-ups? (Where you do a wide pull-up and then extend one arm strait while you are raised on the bar) I was doing them the other day and they felt way harder than a normal pull-up and gave a great workout. Felt great for my lats, biceps and shoulders. 2. Can you make a video on building a nice chest fast for summer? Mines been increasing a lot from bench press. However, even though I can bench 1.4x my body weight, my chest still doesn't look that amazing. The worse part is although my right chest is pretty solid I either have a genetic imbalance or something because my left chest isn't filling out. So I was wondering what I could do to correct chest imbalances or if I'm just sorta fucked by genetics to getting a perfect chest. Thanks if you read!
@chase7269
@chase7269 7 жыл бұрын
Im no expert by any means but i can try to answer your questions, its up to u if u listen.... for the first yes i have and they offer a wider range of motion therefore using the muscle more creating a more intense workout... For the second i think its mostly genetics, but you should try to focus on toning your chest instead of gaining mass (this means do more reps with less weight) this will help build it more equivalently. I had the same problem when i first started lifting, my right peck was 1.5x the size of my left and it bummed me out. I started droping the weight to half of my 1rep max and did 3 sets of 20, 75% of my 1RM 5 sets of 10, and then 85%of my 1RM and did 8 sets of 3. Change up the workout monthly so you're less likely to plateau. Always round down, never round up. Hope you find this useful and good luck!
