I was taught this in medical community: a normal blood pressure is under 140/80. An "Ideal BP" is therefore 120/ 78, which is hard to achieve for most people, in this day and age- unfortunately. However, all this advice that you give here is a good and sound, and we should be following it, even if we don't have a ideal B/p (very few people do)

I needed this SO much, Dr. Frita! Was diagnosed with 'stress-induced hypertension' years ago, that's now morphed into consistent HBP. I've been given 6 weeks to try to lower it naturally (otherwise, I'll get put on meds). Heart disease runs in my family, so I want to get a jump on this FAST & stave it off as long as I can. I'm 4 wks in and, in my 'over-achiever' way, learned REAL QUICK that sodium is NEEDED in order for my body & brain to function properly. The goal is NOT to have close-to-no sodium, but rather, to keep it at or slightly below 1,500mg p day (I was taking in less than 800 mg). Your straight forward approach has helped me to have confidence that I CAN do it if I just take a more balanced approach with healthier/more natural foods, increased exercise, reduced alcohol intake, and lower stress. Thank you!!

It is nothing but the perfect trifecta, one huge mafia, all three in cahoots similar to a criminal organization to achieve maximum financial gain. Thanks for all this great information. It all makes sense. Didn't realize all that on the salts. I know so many of our foods have tons of salt and sugar. So frustrating.

Thank you for the info. I've been having stage 1 high blood pressure for a few days now. It could be because of the anxiety from covid 19 and the economy. But I'm definitely going to apply what I learned in this video to lower it

Doctor, thank you. Will definitely incorporate more of the foods suggested and vitamins, etc. (Took notes!) Beginning to say No to people, family and neighbors. At 70, it's time for me to be considerate of me and how my body feels, ..say no if I am tired or chest hurting. God Bless. 🙏

So I have high blood pressure runs in my family. My aunt just gave me my own blood pressure machine to monitor it at home. The first day using it scared the hell out of me. My pressure was 130/112. And it told me i was hypertension stage 2. So i took a few deep breaths rested and came back i got a reading of 125/90. It went down but still told me i was in between stages 1and 2 for hypertension. The crazy thing about it is by habit i try to avoid salt sugar is my preferred drug lol but salt was never a issue for me its my stress level and racing thoughts. After i dp my deep breathing my thoughts race back with vengeance. Its very hard to control what u cant see only feel. I knew my blood pressure was going up when i had a crazy consistent headache and had the feeling that i was terrified. Walk me through it doc because i just hit 30 and this is a whole new ball game!!!!

BP is crazy, it’s up and down all the time. Don’t check it so much. It’s just going to make your anxiety and stress worse which makes bp go up cause you’re worrying about it. Here’s what I would do if I was you. Take it a week, morning and night at different times of the morning and night. After 7 days average the numbers out to see where you’re at. If you’re going the natural route try L-Theanine which is a amino acid to help you relax. You can buy it pretty much in any health store. GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, Kroger, Meijer, etc... blood pressure you can also try Hawthorne berry. Best of luck to you!

bfry38, will try the L-Theanine to help me relax, and will get the Hawthorne Berry. Right now I'm grasping at straws. Yes I took notes, and will incorporate the Doctor's Excellent advice!

Thank you young lady! Im glad you have stated an immediate solution right off the bat, im breathing intentionally while i watch, instant progress is what im all about! I dont like expecting a heart attack at age 41! Life has been a total wreck this year, situational depression amd shock is taking its toll physically. It's hard to even talk about. Anxiety kicks in and its not cool. I appreciate you.

I hope this advice helps me. My bp is constantly high. 170+/100+. I just got on meds but I can't deal with the side affects. It's hard for me to take care of my family. I'm not overweight. I do have a big family. My husband helps a lot but I still am mom and kids want mom lol. So stress is a factor. I'm going to try these

Great video very informative. Also "CoQ10" also known as Ubiquinol is an antioxidant that the body produces naturally and stores in components of the cell called mitochondria. It has associations with energy, protecting cells,

Doctor Frida you're right we shouldn't taking in too much salt but you didn't acknowlege the fact that white table salt is 1/3 glass 1/3 sand, and 1/3 sodium with no minerals other than iodine. Whereas pink Himalayan salt, or Red salts are pure raw salt with 87 minerals in them naturally, and what's making the lacerations or tiny cuts in the arteries are the sand and the glass thats in the over processed table salt. Its not the Salt itself (sand & glass) because we all need electrolytes/salt To conduct the electrical impulses in our body's. OVERALL GREAT INFORMATION THANK YOU.
