Just found your channel, I subscribed, it will be great to see how many miles you get on it. I ran across two interesting videos. One video had a truck missing a few parts… it went a million miles and that is what the video was about. The second video was a million mile truck with all its original parts. The manufacturer of the emissions system wanted it back to see how it lasted a million miles. Interesting thing is that truck had four new engines to make it that far. Seems to me that a truck with fewer original parts has a longer lasting engines. What is your strategy? Have you had other trucks that you used for RV hotshots? How many miles have you put on them? I just got my first diesel truck and I went all in. It’s a 2024 Ford F350 SRW 6.7 HO Platnium Tremor. I need this thing to last!! I got it to tow our new Brinkley Z3610.

Thanks for the comment! Congratulations on your new truck. I am familiar with the two videos you referenced. My truck has all factory emissions components and CP4. Zero issues with those systems as of yet. Changing fluids and filters, and running a diesel additive in your fuel is the the best strategy. This is the only truck I've owned and used for RV hotshot. Worked for a few other construction and landscaping companies and any issues always came down to lack of maintenance.

I passed up a good deal on a 2019 F350. I didnt want the worry/hassel with the fuel pump.

That was a smart move though. Less to worry about!

yo man! have you noticed any belt squeak when cold starting your 19? mine has done it since i bought it and i'm wondering if i should just replace my serpentine belt. it almost looks brown, like it has dust/dirt on it. i don't think it's supposed to be brown. lol! (when I mean cold start, i mean like actually cold outside, below freezing)

Yes, I would replace it. Do you know when it was last replaced? And how many miles on your truck ? as a general rule of thumb I replace mine every hundred thousand miles

@@powerstrokemaintenance oh I'm sure it's OEM from 2019. There's no service history of that being changed.

I only have 45000 miles too

Gotcha! Yeah I would just swap it out then. Belts aren’t that expensive I don’t think
