Going to have to use way large gauge wires if you are planning to use 40 amps out of that battery array...

trues but since the whole battery pack is 40ah , its unlikely he will be drawing 40A . but you are right

The. bms can only support 18A max so a parallel bms may help till 36A but with thicker copper wires 😅

@@MrNeboff Well for information. I realize that the entire battery pack is only a 40AH rating. However, you can easily draw way more then 40 amps from it. You can draw many times that amount for shorter periods of time. So don't think it will only allow 40 amps and that it it... Just saying.

i gave up on the laptop batterys and seek out ebike /scooter batterys that have consistant mah batterys ,and usually only seem to be out of ballance,, just bought 10 packs of 10s 4p lg mh1 cells ,ive only tested 4 of the packs so far and they have all been 3ah to 3.2ah per cell (im very lucky) ,i joined 2 packs together for my ebike which i did a video on ,i may go for a power wall with some of the older laptop batterys i have that are between 2 and 2.5ah ,i have around 300 sitting doing nothing ,thanks for the inspiration
