Thankyou. You make it look so easy to build one. I might have a try one day. This powerbank is for outdoor emergency uses, may be camping, blackout etc. How long it takes to recharge, it doesnt matter. Once fully recharge, it is a power back up. In my country, you might need to have this ready if you are going to small villages. A lot cheaper to make than buying a ready-made one from the shop...

100.000ah / 2 = 50.000ma Hypotetic. 1A charge in = 50 hours to chargue each bank. +-25% approx. efficacy to transform 3.7V in 5V. Not bad. If you have the batteries and you use this bank once a week, it is ok. Low cost power bank. Also, you can get a 12V deep cycle battery (made from gel) wit 12Ah and less weight. Best regards.

This isnt really 100000Mah because you need to convert it in 5V after the 3.7V so its more like 75000mah, and then it would take weeks to charge them because the 1amp entry... You would have done better to connect the batteries with a mix Series/parallel to achieve 12V and buy a 12V battery controller with 5v outputs ...

Hylke Jellema he wouldn't be converting the batteries, just placing them in series, 3 batteries will work with most 12v equipment and you parallel 7 sets of 3 to get 35,000 mah at 12v, so 1) you have a native 12v output with no conversion 2) you can more efficiently stepdown from 12v to 5 then stepup from 3.7, downside is the need for a balancing circuit, well at least if you plan on using it more then once

Spartoz don't forget the complexity will go up with placing the batteries in series, you then need to actively balance the batteries when charging. either way he should hook up a lipo charger to the battery for any decent charge time

for these 26650 batteries to give 100 Amps, each one at least must hold 2.5 Amps, and with some calculations, you must connect 40 of them in parallel, but you used about 7~10 batteries which correspond to be (10x2.5 = 25 Amps of charge) not 100 Amps like you say. further more destroying, the 26650 can't hold more than 5 Amps for each cell, and with some calculations, you must have 20 of them in parallel, all connected to each other, not separated or split to 2 packs each holding 10 batteries with 5 Amps max for each cell.
