The 5:40 mark, I remember exactly where I was/what I was doing when I heard Princess Diana had died! I was like 8 at the time and it was only because of the way my mother was acting about it so yes the emotional thing makes a lot of sense

The story about the cousin's widow giving advice was powerful. Authenticity really shines through in unexpected moments. A reminder to embrace the fantasy and live life to the fullest

Real talk, some of this is easier said than done. Vulnerability is scary! But that's why it's so impactful when you lean into it.

Empathetical listening is indeed a superpower. In my experience most people want to interrupt you with their story, which is bigger and better than yours thereby make you feel invisible.

I'm not sure about the beach analogy, but I get the point about the lasting value of emotional experiences, it's really interesting how our memories are shaped by those peaks and surprises.

Yeah, I think it makes a lot of sense that when something really affects us emotionally that experience lasts a lifetime.
@shastadeed Жыл бұрын
Definitely! I find it fascinating the way our emotions are so linked to our memories.
