My neighbor in Virginia made pineapple cake. Delicious! Gave me the recipe, and I lost it. 😮 This looks very close. She did use egg yolks in her pineapple sauce, so I may try that… or not. I’ll see how I’m feeling in the moment. Thank you!!😊

We can only get so many Dunkin Heinz cake mixes in Canada. This is, unfortunately, not one of them. My mouth is watering Ms Ruthias. I still do the butter and flour method when I bake my cakes.

I love pineapple cake but if it doesn't have a seven-minute icing on it I feel something is missing. My mother always made pineapple cake but it was always layered with seven-minute icing. She also made a black walnut cake and layered it with seven-minute icing. Thank you 😋😋😋❤

I just used a coconut box cake mix to make a cake today. I added 1 cup of coconut milk, 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of sugar, 1 stick melted butter, 1 cup coconut milk, 1 cup sour cream, coconut extract, vanilla extract, cream bouquet extract, butter extract and a pinch of salt. It was delicious!
