How to Make a Relationship -- Today, we're going to be talking about how to make a relationship POWERFUL.
I am REALLY excited to share this information with you because these cool quick tips are pretty easy to implement, very easy to understand, and if everybody had these understandings and structures inside their relationships, there would be a whole LOT more love out in the world.
So, I hope that these tips resonate with you. I hope you enjoy them. I hope that you take and implement them into your own relationships.
This is all about how to make your relationship powerful. As in, how to step into a new relationship inside your power, as well as how to set up that relationship for success.
The first thing you have to know, is that when you are first cultivating a new relationship, you need to make sure to maintain your relationship with yourself.
You can't get lost in your new and exciting love, even though it's very easy to do.
This is a common problem. What happens is we give too much of ourselves, lose our identity, and lose the person who our potential love or long-time partner was initially interested in.
A lot of people, when they enter into a new relationship, they are doing all these GREAT things in their lives.
But then, they stop caring so much about all of them so that they can fully commit to the relationship. That's shooting yourself in the foot. It puts an unnecessary amount of pressure on your new relationship and partner. Overall, it's a VERY common toxic behavior.
So, the first tip is to maintain your relationship with yourself.
Keep developing yourself. Keep your interest at heart. Keep moving forward in your life and enjoy sharing that and your mutual growth with your partner.
That brings me to tip number two, which is that you want to co-create your intentions inside of the relationship.
Now, this is how two powerful individuals come together to create something even GREATER than their own individual lives. It's by maintaining their relationship with themselves, but then co-creating something together that is on a whole new level.
The way you do that is simply by having a conversation. What is my intention for entering into this relationship? How do I want to positively impact your life and how would I like to see you positively impact my life?
Relationships are not only about getting the snuggles that we want or, having someone to help us with our chores or, someone to help us through our problems. It's about having a real stand for you in the world outside of yourself.
It's for having another person who stands for your GREATNESS, who aligns with your vision of your potential future and everything that you want to achieve in your own life. You are that for that person as well.
This initial conversation and, quite literally, should be:
"I intend to go into a relationship with you and to co-create an amazing future."
Then, you set up what that looks like. How can we support each other?
Once you do that by maintaining your relationship with yourself, you are clear on what it is that you want, where your path is going, and how this person can support you.
It all comes from your relationship with yourself being developed FIRST. Now, you are co-creating and coming together with these clear personal intentions to say:
"This is how we can support each other for even greater success".
Then that brings tip number three, which is now that you have entered into the relationship, you need to learn how that person receives love.
There is a book called "The Five Love Languages". I'm not sure of the title, but it breaks it down to a very simple way to understand.
There is essentially five different ways that people receive love inside a relationship. Everybody is different and most people have one primary way and a secondary important way as well.
So, the five ways, to make a quick list for you is:
Acts of service -- having things done for you
Physical touch -- the physical intimacy
Quality time -- spending time together
Words of affirmation -- getting affirmed that you are doing good things in the world, or that you are achieving what you want, or that you are a great person (whatever it may be)
Gifts -- receiving and giving gifts
Those are the five ways that people receive love...

Excellent video content! Excuse me for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you heard the talk about - Lammywalness his happiness Guide (just google it)? It is a great exclusive product for understanding what men really want without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my old buddy Taylor after a lifetime of fighting got great success with it.

I really enjoy watching this video, Very good tips for building or making our relationship better. I have been married for 25 years, my husband doesn't really relate with the words "I love you" He never tells me that he loves me. But the fact, that he is always with me, rain, shine or ups and down. Just been with me, and coming home to me, and he is nice, caring and tender, that is love to me. His actions are bigger that words. I had made him to tell me that he loves me sometimes, but not too often. Because deep inside me. I really know, and I am very confident that he really loves me or he would not be with me, 25 years of loving each other. I do love him with all my heart.

This is so true especailly the first tip 'You need to make sure you maintain relationship with self, don't get lost in new exciting love'. We lose our identity in a relationship. One of my daughter's friends a guy only 18 I believe has lost himself in one and really needs to develop himself first especially at this age. My daughter thankfully really is focusing on herself and what she wants in life before she seriously commits to a relationship.

The 4th tip he gave was literally very important to make a relationship powerful because if you don’t have clear communication with each other especially when you are not in good terms I assure you that you can’t get what you wanted to have in your relationship. Couples should have clear communication.

Hey Noah. I am so very grateful that I found your video. I'm just beginning a new relationship with someone after decades of being single. I gotta admit building a great foundation takes a good deal of effort, patience, understanding, and flexibility. But your video, along with the 5 Love Languages (thank you for mentioning it), has helped me understand the feelings, frustrations, and positive aspects of building something good. In short, it's helped me grow as man. Thank you.

I applied this and things did definitely improve for the most part. Things changed for sure, but some personality differences are still making it hard for us to improve. But -- thank-you for posting this particular video, I really needed someone to do that for me. It's one thing knowing this stuff but having someone tell you, totally different.

The best way to keep a relationship going is to keep throwing logs into the fire. A relationship's passion will diminish over time so you have to keep the fire going. Treat your relationship like a business. If you don't constantly put energy into your business then it will eventually fail, so you have to come up with new ways for your business(relationship) to bring you profit . Go to new places( restaurants, theme parks, concerts, games,co-carts,shooting range,golf, basketball tennis), Try new sex positions/ Go on dates once a week/ Include her on business trips/ Spend time apart every once in a while. Find new friends. Always remember, the number#1 killer in relationships in Boredom so keep your relationship interesting.

I don't know anything about your relationship and what exactly there is to forgive but i'd say communication is key here.see why it's difficult for him to forgive you and what exactly you would need to do for him to earn your trust back. first see if its even possible to earn it back, then see if what he wants is reasonable with you. if it is then start putting it into action! you'll have to HONOR where he's at in the process of forgiveness and be PATIENT because rebuilding trust can take time

I appreciate the tips, very useful. I guess the biggest problem for some women if not for most is that we get ourselves too involved wit the relationship & the partner and we neglect the relationship wit self! And it's then when our men tell us: u changed, ur not the woman I fell for :( Also we wanna be loved our way so in that sense we don't understand our men's love language , it doesn't resonate wit us. I'm guilty of it!

+Dwayne Fuller Mother has nothing to do there !! Most of the time, they destroy the rests of your relationship. She must accept (your woman) that her mother had her own life and that she's got to do the same : be a grown person that can manage some discordance with her beloved one without needing to call the whole village for the show !

I am sorry to say that it's true mothers and daughters keep the "vip" relationship long after the daughter's 20, even 30... but she must discover that her mother is someone genuinely else than herself, and finally grow up to seek for her happiness, not being all life long stuck with the birth cable towards her mother... Maybe that person simply did not deserve you, and i know how painful it feels to get through such story.

hey Noah so I have a couple questions to ask but I want to say thank you for kinda putting me in a different direction and perspective with these tips. so lately my girl and I have been fighting. it's gotten pretty sour between us but we've both decided that we want to still he together and have made the decision to give each other a bit of space and basically start from the beginning again. on a level of loyalty we have no issues but because of how we react to certain things that we tell each other or do to each other, we've been hiding things from one another. her more than myself. How can I reassure her that she can trust me and that I won't react the way I used to? her parents also question my masculinity in the relationship. how can I change that? thanks

@leniebabe44
@leniebabe44 10 жыл бұрын
It is difficult for men to be open and honest about their feelings and emotions and to get him to open up is going to take patience and understanding. Sometimes as women we have to model being open and honest and talk to him about what you want him to be open and honest about. I work with a lot of men and they said they have a difficult time opening up and the best way is give them time and don't give up but to respect when they are not in the space to talk and not to argue or nag about them about their lack of communicating.

+leniebabe44. Relationship love is stupid. 73% girls and women mainly care about looks and how much muscle the guy has. A lot of jerks have a girlfriend or wife. A lot of nice guys don't have a girlfriend or wife. A lot of girls and women need to stop saying they care more about the inside than the outside when that's not true. IT NEEDS TO STOP.
@leniebabe44

Colten...relationship and love is not stupid..there are some genuine people out the 27% you did not mention...If people continue to get involved with the same type of fake person..change!!! and men as well (not all) NEED TO STOP BEING SUPERFICIAL because they look for the trophy so it goes both ways...and BTW...that does your comment have to do with communication?????

She seems a bit extreme so here's what,speak to her best friend and tell him/her how much the current situation you guys are in is bothering you and you're sorry and wanna make things right but you don't know how to.(THIS NEEDS TO BE GENUINE. IF YOU DON'T MEAN IT DON'T MESS WITH THAT GIRLS HEART. Tell the friend not to say anything make it look like it's just between you and the best friend, I guarantee you the best friend is more than likely gonna tell her all you said. When that happens it will have her thinking and waiting for you to prove yourself deserving of her love. Next, if you haven't apologized yet, you need to do that...like asap....make it sweet too (buy her roses and chocolate, a new dress, heels, something nice) if you've done that already do it again, this time more creative, like in public.....be persistent, make sure she knows exactly how you feel and can see that you're trying. If your efforts bring you no success I suggest you stop wasting your time and move on with your life. If she really loves you she'll come back to you, and if she's lucky, you'll still be single. Good luck Tony!
