Thank you for the tutorial it was so easy to follow! I was wondering if this type of handle could be attached to the ends of a bag?

Nicely done. What is your suggestion for rolled handles using cork?

Great instructions going to try soon. Only thing I don't know if my domestic sewing machine can sew through the thickness of fabric and glue. I don't wear bucket hats but I do sew them so awesome hat. Goin to add ears to mine lol. Keep on being you. Thank you

I bought my handles which have holes ready for stitching, but what thread is needed I'm guessing I need to handstitch

Thank you for making this tutorial! How thick is the denim fabric?
@byefrisbie4 ай бұрын
I honestly can't remember what weight the denim is the video was, but I typically recommend a midweight denim maybe 10-14 oz, but you could use a heavier or lighter denim depending the application

I notice one thing today that is worth mentioning. Instead of sliders in the front i used squares. However the measurements do not match as for the slider. On my bag the end Connectors endes above the upper Edgware of the front panel. So i excluded the end tags and shortend the handles after the rivets and I places one more river above the original one so the handle sits nice and firm.

You are new to this? Oh my goodness, you certainly don't act like ya are! Great videos!!! Thank you for sharing. And - question for ya .... what kind of pen (or whatever) are you using to mark the denim? It seems to work perfectly every time! Can't say that about the markers I use! TY =^.^=
@byefrisbie4 ай бұрын
Still got lots to learn, but thank you! I use heat erasable pens- you can get them on amazon + a lot of other sewing websites!

What size rivets are you using?
@byefrisbie10 ай бұрын
I generally use 10 mm caps, but I have a lot of different post lengths on hand for different applications!

Are you using an industrial sewing machine to make these handles? I would think an ordinary sewing machine might struggle with the thickness/glue and break lots of needles…..….
@byefrisbie2 ай бұрын
@@kmarionj I am, but I’m pretty confident you could do it with a domestic machine if you use a thinner denim/canvas/etc
