The hologram is make with a phenomenon called Pepper's ghost. Basically, all transparent objects dont let all light pass through. Some are reflected. With a bright enough image and a dark enough background, you can see the image clearly.

This was a really guick, simple and fun project to do. I myself did not have a tablet or something similar to use so I thought I would give it a go using my phone, and it worked out great! My list of things I used was so cheap and I had everything I needed already. I used a empty milk for the box, some scissors, plastic from the front of a box wich I think containd window wipers for cars, I'm not sure about that, and lastly I used tape. It took a few tries to get the plastic right inside the box so the vocaloid characters did not look chubby or not there at all, but in the end, I got myself a hologram box. Thanks a lot for the tutorial!

This worked! I had trouble finding plastic, but here's a tip to make it easier. Plastic bags/baggies/ziplocks etc. Do not work, instead I used the plastic that doesn't let you touch a toy. It has to be flat. Beware, cut with caution or you'll end up like me: cut and hurt. Thanks for this video!
