@@bryanbrown5081 not necessarily, there are a lot of cel shaded style 3D anime games before 3D based GG series starts getting widefully noticed by the masses, increasing the demands over the years for that style, the real catalysts are definitely games like wind waker, tales series, ninokuni, jetset radio, etc

Demon Slayer game legit has one of the most anime-like 3d I've seen. The characters legit have distorted models during ultimate cutscenes so it fits what the face would look like in 2D

​@@oniplus4545Windwaker isn't anime. None of the Zelda games fit into this style. If anything, Naruto Storm games were the catalyst for being the first cel shaded anime based game that held true to the anime visuals almost 1 to 1. Almost every anime game patterns after Cyberconnect.

If it's any encouragement, I've quit blender 2-3 times in the past 2 years I've been learning it but every time I come back I can go farther with it because I remember everything I learned from before. It's good to take breaks, but just remember to not give up! Blender takes a lot of time to learn but you'll always come back to it more knowledgeable than before

Your texturing looks great. It looks like most of the style comes from the texturing. You should try modeling a head with 2d eyes/mouth on a floating plane just barely above the models face. I bet it would look good with your style and it would make an easier to work with base if you need to make a lot of models in the future.

Great work! That tehnicue with face`s normals replacement realy makes job and looks awesome! It is quate usefull to learn from you but even in slow mo some aspects was made so fast that cant be understandable (( for example even in 0.25 video speed i dont know how did you bake that lashes texture in 1 click. Anyway this is really good art and timelapse video

@@iamrei2317 I think you need one. mouse is good but having a tablet is a game changing. If you are going to paint, sculpt, etc, you really need tablet for pen pressure.
