I love getting a group shot of kids blowing a kiss to the bride and groom. I also love getting a shot of grandparents with little kids and giving that as a bonus portrait. After a year or two, it becomes a favorite Christmas portrait.

Great video! Saved in my playlist! Do you have or would make a video about filming wedding tips for a solo shooter with only one camera? I have not seen a video for this as this is what I will be doing using my fx30. Thanks dude and keep up the amazing work!

Thanks for always providing amazing content! I was curious when you use uncut gems who your editor is? I know they have several different editors in their arsenal.

As an autodidact photographer and videographer who is using KZbin as a learning platform, very little beats the feeling when you discover a channel with the exact content your searching, AND the one delivering the content is both really like able and skilled! So far I’m only a few videoes into your channel, and I’m loving any second spend here. Thx for really educational content and the biggest compliments for you and your way of expressing your passion and knowledge. Happy new year, and without you noticing it, you will impact my 2024 for sure 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Your videos look amazing. I am shooting my first wedding in November 2024. I want to quit already lol. I just don't know how you get your videos to look the way they do, the color grading. no matter how hard I try my videos look like soap operas on a vhs video recorder :(. ugghh.

Hi Jaired! Love your work; that said, I just ordered the PMVND + Mist & regular Polar Pro Mist (for both cameras.) Was like $650 😳😅 so I hope this really elevates a better look on my films. Thanks for the advise, question? When do you choose to NOT use them?
@WaywardNorth10 ай бұрын
Thanks Brandon! The PMVND mist combo was one of my favs! Best time to use it is outdoors and daylight scenarios but you can still get a solid look indoors as long as there is sufficient light. Only time I would say to switch would be during the reception.
@brandonleefilms-weddings10 ай бұрын
@@WaywardNorth thanks for the feedback! I got the polar pro clear mist as well for nighttime… You would still ditch the mist for the reception, seems the 1/8th would be good for the whole day..?

Nothing interesting for a wedding couple. Weddings are their best day in life. You try to do your experiments but you never think about the couple and their family and love ones as viewers. This is not a telegram or a film. Weddings are different as the couple need keep a memorable movements for years. You have done light shades making the couple’s looks are to what your like. Mate done ruin their day. Sorry to say but it’s my opinion. Editing is your and couple’s choice. If I’m the client I hate dark and bad ambient. Try to show everything in a good light for them to enjoy their day.

Well the beautiful part about this industry is how diverse it is. There’s no one size fits all! Appreciate your opinion on weddings and I do agree to a certain extent. I don’t think utilizing different film techniques is damaging to the couples film or day by any means. They hired you for a reason. My couples hire me because of the feeling they get when they watch past couples films. It’s all about how you make someone feel. And to achieve that feeling, it’s a combination of film techniques, setting, characters, and the story you are telling. I want to give my couples more than a wedding video but a real, powerful, bespoke film that captures the essence of who they are. Every wedding film is different and every artist sees the world differently. Doesn’t mean they are wrong. Thanks again for your feedback!
@Takeiteasy37610 ай бұрын
When I’m hired to film a wedding, it’s based on my style. I don’t ask my client what kind of film they want. When you’re working on cinematography you find a style that fits you. And that’s why people come to you. For your look.
@jasonguido905710 ай бұрын
Of course, the couple's story is the top priority. But all these cinematic techniques enhance the viewer's experience, keep them engaged, and provoke the emotions you expect from a wedding film. As least to me, this is something big, and should not be neglected. I understand the "just make it look clear, all I want is to see myself with my family" mindset, my mother in law says it to us all the time in an attempt to save us editing time and so we can charge less and have more work. But in my opinion, that would be kinda mediocre, and we would not have anything to stand out and give them a reason to choose particularly our work over any other. Just my opinion.😊
@seahawker79110 ай бұрын
Well then I’m sure if you saw this work you wouldn’t have hired him. You think these couples don’t see previous work? 🤦🏻♂️
