oh yes especially when its a tailor made food that contains certain types of bacteria,when the Shrimp eat the bacteria they also get enzymes that help with digestion,which means they grow faster as a result of being able to eat more food.

Bee pollen is a fantastic baby food too and you dont have to mix it you just add a grain to the tank :)

Usually garden soil has bad chemicals inside that may harm fish or shrimp or just about any living marine creature, I would recommend you use normal aquarium soil,I learnt my lesson the hard way. Had an ecosphere,tons of shrimp died because I put in garden soil. If ur one hundred percent sure that the garden soil has no pesticides and is completely natural, then it should be fine to use the soil

i bought some shrimp sticks and for some reason the shrimp do not like it. They barely touch it at all and usually just gets moist and falls apart and the algae eater eats it. My shrimp have been eating the bloodworms mitis shrimp and daphnia that I put in for my betta and my 2 guppies. Why dont the like their expensive Dennerle sticks?
