hey, love this recipe thank you! the light on the waffle maker means it's heating when it starts to get cooler it will start heating up again ... that's at least how mine operates.

Thank you for watching and letting me know what the light means...that sounds about right as it did go off after a few minutes when turned on. Hope you enjoy the recipe too. Cheers!

Do you think you could use chicken in this same recipe?
@WildLumens3 жыл бұрын
Hi Arlene…thanks for watching!! I’m really not sure about chicken as I have yet to try it but then again I rarely eat chicken. The ground beef has been my go to meat for this recipe.

It just makes me think of “chicken and waffles”.

These look great and I like the simple two-ingredient recipe. Today I made my first ever meat waffles using ground chicken. I also cooked it on the stove first (not in water though, just sauteed in a pan). My recipe was ground chicken, egg, grated cheese and some pork rind crumbs (probably not needed). The flavor was really neutral which was great as I used them for sandwiches. YUM!

I've even done it with tinned sardines. No honey though! I don't touch the stuff - it's sugar, no two ways about it.

Which do you like better, your waffles or your pancakes from the same recipe. Thanks for sharing!
@WildLumens4 жыл бұрын
Hi Bev! Thanks for watching. I like the pancakes better only because the prep and clean up is a little easier and faster. When it comes to taste I only make beef now. The goat version just tastes a little too strong and not "pancakey" enough. Hope that helps and good luck!!

Yeah, so easy! Even the non-carnivores like them. Personally I like the beef a lot better, the lamb has a lamb taste, naturally. Haha.

The egg white expands while cooking in the waffle maker. It deflated when you open it. No idea why. I wish I knew how to prevent that from happening

Can you use these waffles as bread for burgers and hotdogs???
@WildLumens3 жыл бұрын
Hi! I haven’t tried that yet but some people have commented saying that they do. There is another video on this channel where I make just bread and that’s what I have used with burgers. Thanks for stopping by!

@@mistythompson4961 y glycine is an amino acid that happens to be sweet. Dr Ken berry did an video on it. It's really good for us. I use it as an sweetener, not like artificial stuff by the cup. I just uses half teaspoon or so. It's sweet. Dr Shawn baker also uses it in ice cream

Okay, your video is still playing while I write this at 5 45 seconds, I got a better idea, you could use a sous vide, holds all the nutrients and fat in the beef..... Would that mess up the batter? hmmmm I got to try this! Going to try it tomorrow.

lost me at the honey. pure glucose is not carnivore. insects aren’t animals.
@WildLumens4 жыл бұрын
Hi Victoria, thanks for watching! Yeah that's why I stated in the video honey is optional and highly debatable. Some people can't handle it and some can in small amounts. Yeah there is a heavy amount of glucose, approximately 30% I believe and even fructose. Personally I have a little honey every once in while and don't notice a negative reaction. I get you on the insect part too but notice they are technically in the Animal kingdom. Either way I wish you well and perhaps the recipe will work for you minus the honey. Cheers!!!
