Nice touch with the beef broth. Lots of extra flavor and better than using water for gravy. Nice job. I am trying it as I watch the video. Thanks. GB

Well done! Thank you! I am a huge gravy fan,yet have struggled with making it, so this recipe, and more importantly, your step by step technique, will certainly get tried in my kitchen. The process is as valuable as the ingredients..

I would be tempted to put that sauce on top of some ground beef patties instead and enjoy the beef cut by itself.
@gregbellinger5765Ай бұрын
it works. I've done it. Slow cook cheaper cuts of beef and that's good also. Don't get in a hurry. it's not "fast food". enjoy making it as much as eating it. Thanks. GB

My gravy is fine w/o the butter & extra sauces. I’m 4 generations in just using bacon grease & flour. And now as an adult learning more how some things in our soul food diet clog arteries. Butter not necessary.

Making the onion gravy takes some time...how do you keep the steak warm while you do the onions? thanks.
@TheSimpleWaywithDelila2 жыл бұрын
Good question! Try covering it with a plate, of course it'll still loose some heat but that's probably your best option 🤷🏾♀️

Or just let it cook longer - if you’re just after the coloring of it (trying to get it darker).

I love how you said rinse your meat. I just got done watching a video where they discuss that. Unfortunately nothing good comes from rinsing your meat. However you do spread pathogens in the water droplets you inevitably get everywhere, but the risk is minimal.
