This brought back so many memories of my mom making these for us when we were young. One tip I can share is the reason the batter falls off the mold is because you need to pat some of the oil off the mold on a paper towel. Too much oil will make the batter slip off. Other then that, you did great. Thank you for sharing and giving me a moment of nostalgia.

Usually when the batter falls off the iron is because you don’t drain all that extra oil on the iron

word on the street is, DO NOT wasjh the molds. They say that over and over, do not wash them. I might rinse mine in clear water, but no soap.

Not as easy as it looks! I made a huge mess. Batter would not stick to mold & would clump up in bowl. Thought maybe too hot?? Then maybe to cold?? I gave up 😅
