Honestly it didn't cross my mind, I'm just always curious to check out other peoples work if there's some there to listen to. I've been really getting back in the Silent Hill soundtracks composed by Akira Yamaoka recently. Not sure if your familiar with his work but there's a few ambient mixes on youtube you might like. Further down the road I might attempt tutorial if I can sort out a couple tracks

Awesome. It's funny that you mention that. Just yesterday I was reading an old interview with an artist that was inspired by Akira Yamaoka: Mount Shrine. Cool ambient drone music with a lot of spoken word field recordings underneath.

Brendan, i only recently discovered you but I'm a huge fan, you demystify ambient for me! thank you! Do you see a chance to 'how to' something like hecq's 0000 album? I think it might be a fun challenge for you to try, and it would make me (and hopefully others) very happy if not i'll still be a fan ;) cheers bro!

Hey man, glad to hear some of these tutorials are getting through : ) For the moment I'm going to give making tracks in the style of other artists a rest. As fun as they are, they are very time consuming and often end up going unwatched. I really like that album, I think someone else actually recommended I do it a while ago as well (another disappointed patron haha). Anyway thanks for the support, hope you can find some of my other stuff somewhat helpful. Keep at it
