Baking soda can be toxic in large amounts, but a small amount in a treat is usually fine! Introduce anything new to your pet slowly to see how they do

If you’re worried about baking soda, you can use egg whites whipped into peaks, it’s a great substitute and it’s just egg whites. Ratio is one egg white substitutes for a half teaspoon baking soda.
