I wanted to make this video to show you just how easy it is to make your own granola. You only need large flake oats, shredded coconut, maple syrup, olive oil, cinnamon and salt. My daughter is allergic to nuts; so I do not make granola with nuts. But, I love adding nuts to my bowl when I am eating it. This is an awesome, basic granola recipe that you can experiment with, to make it your own. Our favourite add-ins, when serving, are: raisins, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, pepitas, flaxseed and hemp hearts. This granola is excellent for breakfast and fantastic swirled into vanilla or plain yogurt. I hope this video inspires you to try this recipe and add granola making to your cooking routine.
