Love your videos.I remember when I did my National Service in the RAF (a century ago!) I was stationed at Linton-on-Ouse. A Yorkshire family invited me to dinner and that is the first time I had a plate of miniature Yorkshire puddings with onion gravy before the roast beef. Delicious!

I found a tip that said, if you don't want to have onion tears, just place a bowl of water beside your cutting board as you cut your onion. The water will absorb the onion zest that makes your eyes water.

I live in Australia ,I bought Beef stock ,a well known brand .it was in a cardboard with a silver lining container..I used half and put the other half in the refrigerator . I used it 4 later That night I got very sick...For some reason I cut the top of the container off...To my surprise it had gone moldy . Since then I will not buy made up Stock ,only stock cubes.

Yes you can but the flavour will be different as Red onions are much milder and are not a traditional English onion.
