I have been doing sci-fi stuff a lot lately. See the most recent six episodes. Just today, I published episode 060, a fuel depot.

Wyloch, you are the best dude. Always coming in clutch when im trying to figure out how I'm gonna do campaigns. You're an absolute legend.

Love how the aesthetic evokes the lunar base from FF IV. And I'm totally going to make grates and portcullises with that cross-stitching material from now on.

Would absoluyely love to see you revisit this one wjth some of your more modern takes on designing this stuff. I know, it wouldn't be earth-shatteringly new, but it'd be COOL and I know you'd have clever ideas, sk that is always worth it.

love the tiles...the only thing with using the granny grating is it is so out of scale...I tend to use vinyl window screen...perfect scale...keep the vids coming can't get enough...

Thanks for this, very handy with boarding patrol terrain.

with that floor clip system you could make an iron fence or a wall with a functioning gate. That's pretty cool

Great stuff as usual, and now that you've heard of SpaceHulk, you can do your paper mini magic on some sci-fi figs. Then enjoy the fun that is removing Tyranid critters from the Emperor's property! lol

Modular designs are so flexible. I love that you design and develop stuff like this ... and best of all ... share your ideas with us! :)

Great Job looks amazing, you might be able to glue the tiles onto thin mdf using pva glue then spray black using Chaos Black then drybrush the silver. Would look great in space hulk for corridors and rooms etc,

Spaaaaaaaaaaacccee!! :D These would be good for making Fallout Vault tiles too :D Make a big ol' gear door clippy, pipes n such, presto. :D

For one of your intros, you should open a bag of holding, and the camera should go down into the room inside with a wyloch crafting table in it :D

I know you said you won’t be revisiting these any time soon, but an update to these for Boarding Action in the new 40K rules would be nice.

What would have been cool would have been diagonal granny grating, would have knocked this already great system out of the park :)

You mean cut the squares at a 45 degree angle from what I did?

yes :)

hmmm, wondering if contact cement (sort of like rubber cement but used for stuff like formica) would work for the grids?

With starfinder out now, how many tiles would you suggest of each as a minimum? Obviously it would depend on where\what your game is doing, but I’m looking for a start. Also love everything about this channel.

Most any room can be constructed from 8 corners, 4 field, 16 side wall, 4 hallway and 4 dead ends.

Yes, I have seen this but not all ships have grating. Think the Enterprise or a Stardestroyer. Using the same method as your dungeon tiles will give that effect.

Ooooo yeah I'd love to see what you come up with!

I noticed in the measurements you have the tiles at 2.5 inches rather than the usual 2.5 light. Is this a typo or deliberate?

Hey Wyloch, I love your tiles and one of my friends who runs Shadowrun loved these too. I was wondering how you'd do arctic terrain with these tiles?
@WylochsArmory8 жыл бұрын
I would look at episode 36 (mine tiles) but simply paint them differently. Base coat in solid blue, heavy dry brush of the sand with cyan (light blue), and then a final light dry brush with plain white.
