Thank you for bringing back memories of my childhood visits to Germany. Thanks to your videos, I am making delicious brown bread with your bread spice, and now I have the recipe for gingerbread too. My first Christmas at age 5 was kind of a disaster. Put the chocolate cookie from the tree under my pillow... it melted... and got in trouble for tossing snow balls off the balcony in Wiesbaden's Wilhemstrasse...but now I am gleefully making my own Marzipan...soooo good. looking forward to more videos.

Hallo MyGerman Recipes, We finally finished our "experiments" with the Apple Cookie Poptarts. What we found best was to first of all, add the sugar & cinnamon into the batter mix instead of later when just out of the fry pan; also we made the apple slices much thinner (skins off..just our preferrence), which alone seems to have perfected the "toastering" process. This way we can toast them right out of the freezer if necessary, or preferably just slightly defrosted, from the refrigerator, or from room temperature. Oh, we did try a different batter mix but your recipe works best. All-in-ALL, a very successful venture. Thank-you again for everything and, of course, I have a message to relay to you from Rebecca. ~ " Hi German LADY how are you? I am fine. Can you teach my Uncle to make ladybug candy or ladybug cookies for Christmas time? Lady bugs are red with black polka-dots, but you want to, you can make the polka-dots any colour you want. I dressed up for Halloween, I was the "Cockroach Princess"." [ From the mouth of babes, lol ;-) . ] P.S. suppose to give you this emoji for an example 🐞, lol.

Can you please copy your comment and paste it to comment section of the video with the apple beignets? This way others can learn from your experience there when they watch the video. I'll then comment on you there if that's ok.

It seems that this could be used all year for many uses. I would be happy to use this on squash and root vegetables as a perky addition.Certainly not just a Christmas addition!

I couldn’t quite make out which cinnamon you recommended even though I played the video a few times. Did you say “Saigon” cinnamon?

Hello...have seen many people use Anise Seed in German Spice mix... Is that really needed?
@MyGermanRecipes4 жыл бұрын
Well, it’s part of this traditional spice mix but if you don’t like it, leave it out. I’m doing the same with caraway 😆 ... I can’t stand the taste!
