Giya ki sabji
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Bottle gourd
- 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 2 medium onions
- 2 green chillies (adjust according to taste)
- 1 pinch of turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons of milk (for a creamy texture, or use water if preferred)
- 1 boiled egg (adjust according to servings)
- Salt (adjust according to taste)
- Curry leaves
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
Method:
1. Chop the bottle gourd, onions, and green chillies.
2. Heat the sesame oil in a kadai.
3. Add fenugreek seeds, turmeric powder, onions, and chillies. Cover with a lid and let it cook.
4. Add salt, boiled egg, and chopped bottle gourd. Cover again and let it cook.
5. Finally, add curry leaves and milk. Mix well.
Giya ki sabji is ready to enjoy!
Tip: Remember not to use coriander leaves as it may change the taste.
